Your Own Flying Rainbows~

It’s harder to be upset,

when visited by flying rainbows.

Especially when they decide,

to join your picnic.

Flying fluffs,

of rainbow hope,

on wing!

Cheers to you from your friends the lorikeets and me~

  1. What beauties!! They look like sparkling gemstones of a precious nature. Thank you, Cindy, for sharing them here — seeing one would be a delight, but seeing a whole bunch of them? Heavenly!!

  2. We live in colour. I celebrate our world and all the wonderful creatures. And I celebrate the friendships and conversations that I find on your blog! Have a wonderful day, my dear friend.

    1. I think it is a Grevillea Charlotte (There are many types and grow as bushes or trees). The birds are a nectar, pollen eater and love the similar Bottlebrush plants as well 😀

      1. And you my dear friend. I know you are safe where you are and ready to “shoot” and we all benefit from your gorgeous photos. (heart)

  3. Wow their colours are so vibrant. Truly beautiful birds, and as usual your wonderful photography captures the details so stunningly, Cindy! As always, thanks for sharing it with us.

    1. Since birds lift me up everyday, I am so happy, that in photos, they bring you the same lightness to you. Photos are the only way I will capture a wild bird. I am so glad they bring you joy. Thank you for telling me ♡

    1. Si! Gracias. Te amo en el Perú más hermoso y sorprendente. Independientemente de lo que ocurra, todos somos hijos de la naturaleza. Amor y seguridad para ti. დ

    1. Aww, thank you so much Jennie. I have to tell you, because you will understand, our 18 month old twin grandsons, my first, are moving, close to The Holler, and buying a house in the midst of all this covid19 chaos. I will be their babysitter. This means of course that family is close, and my 63 year old self will ramp up how much I have loved every second of my life when I hung out with children.
Oh, the nearby places we will go!I am a bit older though. I might get tired.დ
      Love to you Jenny დ

      1. That is great news! They will be getting what matters most, a loving grandmother, and a big dose of nature and the great outdoors. Please read aloud to them!! If you have on hand, “Goodnight Moon”, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, and “Brown Bear Brown Bear” that will be perfect. Yes, you will get tired, but it will be a happy tired. I’m here for you when you need recommendations, even a play doh recipe. When will they be moving?

    1. Thank you Sally. I hope the same for you and yours. My daughter and son in law, and the two baby boy twins are moving closer. They are buying a house near The Holler. It seems so odd, stay at home, or move closer? We’re moving closer, even though doing this, at this time, is challenging logistic wise. Love to you and your family Sally. Stay safe, all of you დ
