It’s harder to be upset,

when visited by flying rainbows.

Especially when they decide,

to join your picnic.

Flying fluffs,

of rainbow hope,

on wing!

Cheers to you from your friends the lorikeets and me~

Great title to the post and even cooler birds! Love the lorikeets.
Hi Brenda & thank you! Hope you and your family are staying safe and well ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
Likewise. CA is sensible in mostly staying closed. But the birds are still free.
God Bless the birds, and you Brenda, and you know I mean it <3
I just found some more chalk… I need to add some rainbows to my chalk art 😉
Good for you! ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
These vibrant pictures are so satisfying to look at! Do you know what the yellow plant is called?
Best Wishes, Charlotte
I think it is a Grevillea Charlotte (There are many types and grow as bushes or trees). The birds are a nectar, pollen eater and love the similar Bottlebrush plants as well 😀
Possibly a Grevillea Honey Gem? See: https://www.grevilleas.com.au/grev13mp.html
Oz has the most impressive collection of naturally growing pincushion, proteas and grevillea I have seen anywhere. Their plants and flowers are fascinating ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
A splash of color indeed. Beautiful subjects and beautiful work as always 🙂👍!
Thank you John. Honored. ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
Cindy, I adore rainbows and your photos so I shall take them flying or stationary. Regardless, they are delightful.
Cheers to you Lea & stay safe and well my friend <3
And you my dear friend. I know you are safe where you are and ready to “shoot” and we all benefit from your gorgeous photos. (heart)

Wow their colours are so vibrant. Truly beautiful birds, and as usual your wonderful photography captures the details so stunningly, Cindy! As always, thanks for sharing it with us.
You are my good friend Halim. Love to you. Thank you. And stay safe
Gorgeous photos of exquisite birds, bringing brightness and joy 😊
Since birds lift me up everyday, I am so happy, that in photos, they bring you the same lightness to you. Photos are the only way I will capture a wild bird. I am so glad they bring you joy. Thank you for telling me ♡
Great images. They remind me of the Netflix documentary Dancing with the Birds which features some truly stunning creatures. 🦜
Okay. Thank you for the heads up. I am not finding much to watch now that I like, so I suspect I will watch this! ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
You’re very welcome. 🤓

Flying rainbows, indeed! Thank you for sending these lovelies my way!!
Aww, thank you so much Jennie. I have to tell you, because you will understand, our 18 month old twin grandsons, my first, are moving, close to The Holler, and buying a house in the midst of all this covid19 chaos. I will be their babysitter. This means of course that family is close, and my 63 year old self will ramp up how much I have loved every second of my life when I hung out with children.
Oh, the nearby places we will go!I am a bit older though. I might get tired.დ
Love to you Jenny დ
That is great news! They will be getting what matters most, a loving grandmother, and a big dose of nature and the great outdoors. Please read aloud to them!! If you have on hand, “Goodnight Moon”, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, and “Brown Bear Brown Bear” that will be perfect. Yes, you will get tired, but it will be a happy tired. I’m here for you when you need recommendations, even a play doh recipe. When will they be moving?
Thanks Jennie! I have already loaded them with children’s books including ‘Good Night Moon’ and they already love them ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
Wonderful!! Tap my brain anytime. 🙂
<3 <3
Wonderful as always Cindy and certainly brightened my day… thank you.. Hope all is well and the family is safe..hugsxx♥
Beautiful birds!
Thank you Sally. I hope the same for you and yours. My daughter and son in law, and the two baby boy twins are moving closer. They are buying a house near The Holler. It seems so odd, stay at home, or move closer? We’re moving closer, even though doing this, at this time, is challenging logistic wise. Love to you and your family Sally. Stay safe, all of you დ
It must be challenging but so worth it Cindy to have them closer, and wonderful for the twins to grow up with access to your beautiful surroundings. Love to you too and thanks again for the beautiful images that brighten our days. ☻
Sorry my emoji went to the dark side for some reason ♥
Laughing ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
Good to hear thanks Cindy..xx♥
