Ocean Sunset progression,

off the coast of British Columbia.

Small community,

on Pennock Island,

in the Tongass Narrows,

near Ketichan.

Ketichan.

Ward Cove Alaska.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park,

and The Treetops Hike which takes you 33 meters up into the canopy.

The bridge during The World Cup! The bridge is over 130 years old, 70 meters high, and 137 meters long. It has of course been rebuilt several times over the years. I walked it very quickly as it was a tad intimidating and swayed a lot!

Grumpy wet Bald Eagle in the rain near Ketichan,

and a very wet and sleepy, Barred Owl in British Columbia. He may have been chilling, but I was thrilled to see him, even if he didn’t wake up! It’s daytime and he needs his zzzz’s…..

Captive Saker Falcon British Columbia. For more images of this amazing bird in flight, see:

Note: I used google ai and image search to identify where I took the photos I couldn’t place. If you notice an error, I would like to know. AI does make a fair amount of mistakes.
We are heading off glamping now. Yep, it is on our bucket list. So, I will post some photos soon and share all the camping-glamour with you!!
Cheers to you from gorgeous Canada & Alaska and her incredible creatures~

Fabulous wilderness and wild things, Cindy xx
Hi Jo! Very pleased you enjoyed my friend. Thank you & cheers to you დ
Honored to be able to enjoy this photographic travelogue! Thank you, Cindy.
Thank you for traveling with me Annette. You made the experience better დ
Oh Cindy, how lovely. Did you take another Alaskan cruise?
Hi Rebecca! The first part was on a boat. The second part land on our own. The twins loved the boat experience დ
How absolutely wonderful!!!
Now it is like, “Nana, when are we going on another trip?” I love being around children.
Those are wonderful images of a wonderful place on earth Cindy! The stern looking Bald Eagle (why are the called Bald when they obviously aren’t bald at all?) and the dozing, fluffy owl – aww. I hope the glamping brings what you expect!
Hi Peter. I have no idea what to expect except the unexpected with glamping! Maybe they called them bald because up high in flight their heads look like they have no feathers, but honestly, human names for birds are so bird-brained, I am probably being too logical. Thank you for your thoughtfulness Peter დ
Crispy and beautiful environment and pictures as usual. Lucky you, Cindy, to see this lovely place.
Hi Alexander. Thank you my friend. It was especially lovely to have all the family and the grandtwins along. How are you and yours doing? დ
Lovely! Thanks for sharing.
Eileen! So great to hear from you! How are you? Thank you for stopping by & take good care დ
Fabulous photos. My favorite is the one of the Bald Eagle.
Thank you! So happy you loved the eagle. They are such majestic creatures. Cheers to you & thanks for stopping by დ
ALL lovely photos, Cindy. You’re an amazing photographer! Also loved the ‘ghost bear’.
Much appreciated. Thank you. That bear was a once in a lifetime experience. Magical creature დ
My goodness, what a wonderful collection of photos. The sunset the eagle and the falcon are my favorites. I love your photography!
