What an expression you have caught in the first photo. What characters these birds are and you capture that so wonderfully. Bit different to our more stripy beaked puffins.

Yes, off the North East and Wales but I saw them very close up when I visited the Skelligs. Some years ago when it was more a mystical and birding experience. ( Now because a Star Wars location …)

Its very interesting seeing the Puffin with his mouth open. it helps me make sense of those “cornflakes” at the corner of his mouth.
