Rarotonga is the island of happy dogs. No matter what you do, a dog will come with you.
They wait at your door for you to come out.
Swimming?
If you swim, they will come along!
They swim to distant reefs with our son everyday.
Fishing?
Heck yes!
They are master fisherdogs and,
they bring their catch to you!
Hiking? Their paw prints mark your path.

Dogs are really amazing animals. They are both sociable and make one become active. Unfortunately, I had to give away my dog when I moved to Kristianstad many years ago, I was away from home for a long time every day.
And I know well how that separation weighs on you. <3

Wow. Incredible. Does everybody pitch in to clean up dog poop? One of my favorite music albums is Bill Frisell’s “Good Dog–Happy Man.” I can’t think of anything better than a happy dog. Great post!
I only saw dog-poop once which is pretty unbelievable isn’t it, since I saw dogs everywhere. I also never saw anyone cleaning it up. These dogs were just universally well behaved and friendly. 🐶<3
The dogs are incredible. It never ceases to amaze me how photos of dogs cause almost involuntary good feelings. I can’t help smiling while looking at these. 😍

How lovely of you to notice <3 He keeps swimming past the fringing reef so I am glad he always wears it.
