It is just a fabulous city!
Lovely photos. 😊
Very pleased you like them & cheers!
😊😊
Because of its history the city looks more German than French.
Yes, I agree. It feels more German too.
I just love your way of photographing. Absolutely magnificent!
Honored and humbled. Thank you Nadia!
You don’t keep still, do you? And those pictures!
Laughing…..I actually do. I just take a lot of photos!
Again, thank you for sharing your travels with us. As always, great selection of subject, composition, technical skill, and power to command the waters to be still.
Oh, what a kind and generous comment! I so wish I could command waters, or anything for that matter! 😉 😉
Beautiful photographs thank you for sharing them!
Thank you more for the kind appreciation!

Leslie
Oh yes! Couldn’t miss it. I have photos of course! 😉

🙂
Amazing pics…And such a serene and calm place with magnificent buildings!
It is that sense of peace that comes from living testaments from the past. The entire old city center is like this.
Beautiful. Superb. Superlatively excellent.
Ahhhh, you are a good friend John!
It’s always funny to see how deeply German these Alsacean cities (still) are. Great pictures Cindy!
Strasbourg is especially so. I had to keep reminding myself we were in France.
It’s awesome, Cindy. 🙂
Thanks so much for letting me share it with you my friend~ <3

I highly recommend to anyone who plans to visit the region.
Amazing beauty! I love the buildings, and how the water flows through.
It is just lovely isn’t it. And so calming to realize it has done just this for hundreds of years.
Yes, for sure. ☺
Absolutely breathtaking!
Awww, thank you Carrie! <3

Your photos take me back to my youth in the Netherlands and Germany. 🙂 <3
Oh how wonderful. Makes me happy to know!
I couldn’t get enough of these amazing photos, Cindy. I scrolled through three times. Beautiful!
You just made my heart smile! Thank you~ <3
Gorgeous shots of a gorgeous city! I visited in 1976 – and still remember its beauty.
And of course, the old city hasn’t changed a bit. How wonderful that is!
Isn’t it!
Wonderful captures! Beautiful city!
Makes me happy you think so!
Such gorgeous pictures, Cindy! A beautiful place… 🙂

Beautiful photos Cindy!
Merci beaucoup!
Now how could one not be enchanted by scenery and old buildings in that city. Blue sky and still waters really do make it the best time of year to visit (and make photos).
It is an enchanting place, particularly in the conditions you mention!
such beautiful images Cindy
Much appreciated Julz!

So happy you like them & cheers to you my friend!

Awww, your kindness is so appreciated Charles.
I am sooo jealous. That is such a beautiful city and your photos do it justice. Wow! If I could win the lottery, I’d be there in a heartbeat.
I want you to win the lottery and GO!!! I’ll buy an extra ticket for you~ <3
I won the lottery by finding your photos. They are EXTREMELY good!

Back 2UX2 sister! <3
Wow Cindy for really lovely and beautiful photos 🙂
Strasbourg looks like an amazing place.
It is an amazing place and we stayed amongst the rooftops where I photographed the roof cats at night. Heaven!
I believe you 🙂
My namesake ancestors were Alsatian, but for some reason I never took the time to put an image in my mind. Now you’ve given me a bunch of really great images. Thanks!
Your ancestors come from an incredibly beautiful and culturally rich part of the world. You should be very proud of them.
Stunning as always.Cheers!
Cheers back to you and thank you!
I’m struck by not just the peaceful scene but also how clean it is there! And you have great luck, Cindy, seeing how often you’ve captured brides in their beautiful wedding gowns to enhance the romantic atmosphere! 🙂
The bride thing is amazing isn’t it! It even shocks me. I’m not a wedding photographer. I was watching one recently somewhere else, and I was thinking “no, no, don’t pose it like that”……laughing! I always want to give the couples my photos, but it would be intrusive.
Oh yeah, I totally get that. It’s kind of like, “Oh, hello! We don’t know each other but I’ve been following you!” Hahaha! 😀
Exactly. Sometimes I am put off by photographers who invade people’s privacy on the streets. I am not comfortable with that at all.
I love your reflections, Cindy. I know this place a little from Drake’s posts. An incredibly romantic place to marry. 🙂 🙂
It is and to honeymoon!
You are amazing.
So are you! We are lucky to know each other. <3
Beautiful,it reminds me of one of these towns you see in cartoons.
Thanks, like a storybook~
Beautiful, so beautiful Dear Cindy, you really captured so artistic and romantic moments in the city. Thank you, Love, nia
Thank you more Nia for such a kind and lovely comment~ <3
