drawn by sweetly scented flowers,
bearing scars of battles won.
Bees drink the nectar too,
and the garden hums,

I love the butterfly shrubs! I just got two the other day for my garden and the line almost formed immediately to order up a cold nectar!

those two yellow flower pics are incredible, they look metallic
they were very pale and translucent and hard to get a good photo of. i tried in different types of light and finally got it! thank you for noticing & cheers too!

These photos are stunning. I always like finding wildlife with a little tear or imperfection because it is a marking that helps me identify them for a future spotting. Beautiful post, Cindy. 🙂

Now this is strikingly beautiful. Would you believe my 3 year old son caught a butterfly in his hand today as it was flying? He simply reached out and grabbed it as it tried to flutter by. Amazing these children …
