Judging from the green bark in your top photographs, I wonder if this is what we know as a Fever Tree. These pictures are outstanding and well worthy of framing!
‘The great grey green Limpopo River all set about with Fever Trees.’ I love my Kipling, and yes of course you are correct. I saw them both times when I was in Africa and thought of Kipling დ
