Bees & Blooms~

Where there are blooms,

there are bees.

Where there are lots of blooms,

there are lots of bees!

“The earth laughs in flowers,”

and lives because of bees.

Cheers to you from the bees and the blooms~

  1. What fantastic photographs, How can anybody not see the beauty and realise how beneficial these flowers are both to our bees and our own well being and mental health.

    1. Thank you very much Erick. I couldn’t possibly agree with you more. Being immersed in the beauty of nature, which we all are a part, is necessary for our physical, mental and spiritual health. Thank you for knowing this დ

  3. Lovely to see over there are still enough bees. In Belgium this is a big problem, the bee population reduced to alarming small numbers. And they with butterflies, wasps and small insects are so essential for our future food.

    1. That is so frightening. We do have lots of bees in our rural area, swarms, harms, all of it. I love bees. We can’t live without them. Hope all is well with you Marcus ꨄ︎

      1. After my five heart attacks and various cases of internal inflammation over the past two and a half years, I am still doing rehabilitation exercises following my most recent operation in January, but everything finally seems to be going well now.

At the moment, things are much worse for bees and butterflies.
We just can’t seem to get the Asian hornet under control.
And, as you point out, pollinators are absolutely essential for the fertilisation of our cereals, fruits and vegetables.
