It is sad when the summer orioles,

fly off to their winter homes.

No more sunny day squabbles,

and birdie bickering.

When the last baby bird has finally fledged,

and flutterbyes have fluttered off,

when grosbeaks are gone,

and only hand-feeding-hummers,

and winter birds stay, it is time for us to fly away too.
We are off to spend time with Canadian grizzlies and send you cheers from your Holler summertime friends~

Great shots and happy hols to you. If the Canadian grizzlies are a euphemism for relatives you can always cheer yourself up with Mable Syrup (nice girl but destined for sticky end). 😀
I had no idea you knew my relatives? It is such a small world! 🐻🐻
You take such lovely photos, Cindy. I’m really looking forward to seeing your photos from Canada.
Leslie
Thank. I am looking forward to my first bear sighting. We are on the island now and three days and counting until 🐻 time!

Amazing! So beautiful captured of these cuties. I love the picture that birds are on the wire. That is so cool!
They are really comical to watch. They bicker continuously!

Thank you and I am so happy you like the 🐦🐦!
Great bird shots, as usual. Have you ever considered submitting shots to the Cornell All About Birds site?
Thank you for the encouragement. I should try.

Lovely captures of your holler friends…hope you have a good telephoto lens so you can keep your distance from those Grizzlies!
Thanks, I do and I have no intention of getting too close.
These beautiful bird captures brought me tears…. The third one is beyond words. <3 <3
Aww, you are a lovely person Amy. Any person who tears up at 🐦🐦🐦 is a true friend of mine~ <3

Beautiful photos of my lovely summer friends. It is sad when they leave for warmer climes, though we do get some pretty winter birds here.
Yes, we do too. thank goodness, I can’t imagine living without lots of wild 🐦🐦🐦~
Me neither. What a sad winter that would be.
<3
I love the hand held hummingbird feeder. I could do that for hours.
I could too but your arm gets awfully tired!
True but it would be worth it!

Save travels. One of these days I’ll get to do the same.
Maybe to not so exotic places.
I did go here the other weekend:

🙂
What a fascinating place! I would love to explore here. There are so many amazing places to see in this gorgeous world~
The hummingbirds are slowly drifting into the backyard – enjoying the rest and loading up on flower fuel getting ready for the flight on south.
I am in Vancouver Island BC and just saw a hummingbird! He needs to bulk up too and get ready to fly south. They are such joy bringing creatures!
Beautiful photos as always Cindy! Your work is amazing!~Rita
So kind and so appreciated~ <3

Whatsoever cameras that you have are made for you.
If I was the CEO of the company producing these cameras, I would announce an Award for You.

Oh that is lovely of you to say and I so appreciate it! I wish they would do this!!! <3
Great shots Cindy!
Thank you very much!
Such gorgeous creatures. Imagine, if they are the descendants of dinosaurs, how colorful the dinosaurs must have been. What a world it must have been with giant plants and gem-like creatures of sky, water and earth.
Yes! I always think of birds and flying dinosaurs. It helps me to understand them. When can I expect this poem please……
If you’ll give me permission to use a picture, I can see what comes. 🙂
You can use any photo anytime without permission. I would be honored!
Oh, how fun. Thank you!
<3 <3
Wonderful pictures as always. I can’t wait to see your shots of the grizzlies. 😉
I just posted the first of them. They are so hard to sort and limit because these are creatures that are so freaking amazing. So happy you like them. People need to know more about them so they can like them.
Beautiful pictures!
Honored. Thank you.
Wow, I love their formation on the feeder!
They are the most delightful little beauties~
