Fall Migration~

It is sad when the summer orioles,
dsc02154
fly off to their winter homes.

No more sunny day squabbles,

and birdie bickering.

When the last baby bird has finally fledged,
dsc08260

and flutterbyes have fluttered off,

dsc02735
when grosbeaks are gone,
dsc09359
and only hand-feeding-hummers,
dsc08085
and winter birds stay, it is time for us to fly away too.
We are off to spend time with Canadian grizzlies and send you cheers from your Holler summertime friends~

  1. Great shots and happy hols to you. If the Canadian grizzlies are a euphemism for relatives you can always cheer yourself up with Mable Syrup (nice girl but destined for sticky end). 😀

  2. Amazing photos and post! Summer will be back and so will all the birdies. Looking forward to your newer ventures and pics Cindy! Thanks for sharing 👍 ☺

  3. Such gorgeous creatures. Imagine, if they are the descendants of dinosaurs, how colorful the dinosaurs must have been. What a world it must have been with giant plants and gem-like creatures of sky, water and earth.

    1. I just posted the first of them. They are so hard to sort and limit because these are creatures that are so freaking amazing. So happy you like them. People need to know more about them so they can like them.

  4. Happy traveling and enjoy the views, Cindy! You are a true blessing when you share such beautiful and sweet birds with us, this is usually my favorite kind of pictures! 🙂 xo

  5. I’m traveling back in time and it’s such a privilege. You must just love being out with your feathered visitors and I would miss them too. Hand feeding hummers!! That’s flipping awesome! All the beautiful song and colour in your surroundings seems pretty magical. Thanks for sharing and welcome back to Canada xK
