Storm series follow us,

spawning deep ocean waves and painting sunsets,

for only the fish,

and our lonely boat,

to see.

Cheers to you from the living sea.
Note: We have limited internet mid-ocean so I am missing you and look forward to catching up when we reach land.

I hoped you got through the storm well and can at least enjoy the buffet now. That beautiful red sky at night portends good times.
It does indeed! Until the next storms kicks up~
Amazing, buddy
So glad you enjoyed!
fantastic..a dream..wish you all the best,dear Cindy <3
So pleased you enjoyed and only the best back at you!
The waves and the deep orange/red sun look so intimidating.
Yes, intimidating, powerful and beautiful, all at the same time!
Stunning Cindy.
Thank you Pauline and be well my friend~
Another exciting adventure – enjoy your cruise!
Seven days now crossing the Atlantic, with not one ship seen the whole time!
A watery desert. I don’t know if I could be out of sight of land. I think it would make me nervous! I hope the weather is good for your passage and not too stormy. <3
These are breathtaking, Cindy! Enjoy yourself! 🙂
Ahhh, thank you Linda and kiss the kitties for me! <3
A wonderful story to accompany the beautiful images.
So kind of you. Thank you!
I forget how large the ocean is. It’s really amazing. I hope you are having a lovely time, Cindy!
No ships seen now for seven days, just like The Ancient Mariner said!
Wow! Any dolphins?
We are still in The Sargasso Sea. It’s an ocean defined by the current surrounding it. In two days we will approach the current boundary off the coast of Africa where there is subtantial upwelling and generally a lot of whales, especially blue whales. This is our fourth crossing, our third over this part of the ocean. I saw a lot of whales including blues at the confluence before once! I am hoping to see some again this time. In the Sargasso itself, one sees little marine life, mistakenly leading people like Coleridge to refer to the sea as a desert. It is a very organically rich ocean, but the life is mostly below the water. I have seen pilot whales once in the middle of The Sargasso. The Sargasso fascinates me. It is named for living floating sargasso kelp that supports a whole ecosystem of minute marine life, including resting baby sea turtles.
Certainly is a gorgeous sunset. Thanks for sharing it Cindy! Enjoy the seascape and all the stunning sunsets along the way! <3
Mother Nature doesn’t disappoint does she! <3

<3 back at U!
Breathtaking photos.
Mille grazie!
Besos <3
Cindy, these pictures are breathtaking! I feel like I’m looking at a fantasy world. Gorgeous! Have fun. 😀 xx
Thank you Vashti. It is like another world, yet it is our world, with no people. It always reminds me of Coleridge and his ancient mariner, adrift on the empty sea. It is so beautiful.
So amazing Cindy!
