The Holler is humming,
with passion,
and flowers.
Bees buzzing,
pollen floating.
The garden thrums,
with the drum of life.
Cheers to your from our passionate garden. <3
Awesome pics. How do you capture such detail? I can even see the bees’ eyes. What kind of camera do you use and telephoto lens? Do you do photo enhancement? Very professional looking.

Wow, thank you. I am a strict amateur, been taking photos for around three years. I use a sony HX300, with a telephoto goes up to 50x with wide angle around 1200mm.

Thank you Cindy! It’s amazing that you can get so many close-up photos of insects that are normally so shy.

Thank you Amy, it is such a fascinating world down there at the level of the insect. So much intricate detail we miss with our naked eyes~

Wow, what an incredible series of photos…I love the insight into the tiny world of insects/flowers and beauty that we simply don’t see at time when we walk by in a rush. You have such a great eye for the details and incredible things that bring beauty into our lives. Cheers and wish you a great week Cindy!

Ahhhh, I feel just the same about you. Blogging is a gift when it allows me to meet people like you my friend. We would never have looked at each others photos if it weren’t for the internet and we would have missed each others view of the world. I am grateful I have the chance to see the world through your extremely talented eyes~

Isn’t is amazing the gift of the internet, and really WordPress for us and everyone to connect around the globe. Sometimes that thought is just overwhelming 🙂

Passion Flower is a unique plant, but it can be aggressive. You managed to capture some really super shots. Good for you. 🙂
Loading...
If by agressive you mean it spreads rapidly and takes over other plants, that is fine at The Holler as the amount of space out here and difficulty many plants have taking hold, requires more tenacious species~
Loading...
Hey Cindy, yes that is what I meant.
Loading...
Good, then it is in the right place! 🙂

Cheers to you from the passionate garden of my heart! Happy thanksgiving my lady. 💖

Hello Cindy! Beautiful pictures! I love the ones with the busy little bees. I’ve been hearing so much about how bees are disappearing so it’s awesome to see them here. 😀
Loading...
We have soooo many of them. There are bee boxes here now too, about 100 of them!!!
Loading...
Is that thing ugly, or beautiful, or both?! Hmmm…
Loading...
My mother thinks it’s ugly……
Loading...
Mother’s are never wrong. Just ask them, they’ll tell you that’s a known fact.
Loading...
how come my kids don’t believe this???????????

Californias light is obviously fantastic for taking pics ! But, of course, it´s also the photographers eye and talent 🙂

You are right, the light is a huge help as poor light is horrible hinderance!
