When Samson waves high five at you!

Or the blue iris start to bloom.

When blue morphos dips her azure wings?

And Samson flashes his hues of blue~

The blue headed lorikeet can do it too!

When Morphos lifts her wings……

These hues will drive the blues from you!

Cheers to you from nature’s beauteous blues~

Blue is such a strong color – blue skies, blue water, blue flowers, blue birds – I love them all. Oh, and my eyes are blue, too 🙂
Oooooh! Lucky you! I love blue too~
I love all these beautiful blues! Thank you for sharing 🙂

All of them are just breathtaking!
Thank you my friend! <3
Creative title and beautiful blues.
Mil grazi and thanks for visiting~
That macaw is just beautiful – I’ve never seen a bird like that 🙂
Aren’t they exquisite! I think they are now endangered in the wild~
Impressive images. They ‘talk’ to me. 😀
Awwwww, that makes me really happy!
Blue is definitely my color! Samson is just gorgeous Hyacinth Macaws are my favorite of all the Macaws.
Aren’t they just exquisite! They are endangered in the wild and have such gentle dispositions. Samson talks up a storm!
You are very lucky, he is just beautiful. Xx
Lovely – blues 🙂
So beautiful. Love the blues:)
So glad you do!
Thank you for helping me with my blues!
It is the least I can do and lots of cheers to you!
These are all lovely, Cindy but that beautiful blue parrot won my heart. He really does look like he’s waving hello at all of us. 🙂
He is! He is trained to high-five and talks up a storm. He is never in a cage during the day and lives in a tree!
What a joyous creature. 🙂 Wish I could meet him. I love birds.
<3 <3
Your title is apropos! Indeed, they are bright and cheery…and blue! 🙂
True blue, not sad blue!! 🙂
Clever girl! Your blues do make me happy. 🙂 And these are astounding photos.
If I made you happy, than I am happy too!
Thanks Cindy I so agree with you!
Yay! Cheers to you Wendell~
Beautiful photos. Hyacinth Macaws are interesting and beautiful birds. Their color is the prized blue that gardeners try to get in flowers, and the color rosarians have never gotten in a rose. While I would love to have one of these majestic birds, I have my hands full with our Gold Cap Conure and Eclectus Parrot.
Oh you lucky duck! Those are beautiful birds! I hear Japan has patented a blue rose splicing delphiniam genes on to white roses. I haven’t seen one yet though~
Where do you take these most dazzling photos… Incredible
Thanks so much! These are all taken in Southern California, the flowers at our home~
Wow, amazing!!! Wonderful collections!!!
Mil grazi and so happy you enjoyed!
Cindy, these images are awesome. Blue really has a calming effect. Hugs! Veraiconica

Big Smile. Love the blue and love parrots and beautiful sharp pictures. 😀
Yay! I hit my target then. Thank you Graham~
oooh I’ve been targeted. Struck down in me prim. Are you sure your not a Bond girl. ? 😀
Laughing….good at archery actually! Something that doesn’t come in handy, generally……
Bluer than blue 😉
Too true! 😎
Stunning ‘Blues’, Cindy. Cheers to you. 😀
And to you my friend!

Oh how perfectly lovely! Thank you & cheers to you~
The blue flowers are gorgeous,Cindy.
I am happy if you liked them Ranu~
Glorious blue in birds, butterflies, and flowers through your lens! Truly Magical, Cindy!
You are so kind and so appreciated!!! Thank you~
I awoke to another cold, dreary, rainy day — your photos have certainly illuminated my world. Peace. 😀
Ahhhhhh, how motivating this is to keep posting! Peace & gratitude to you~
Wonderful shots. I am not sure that it is because of our own mind thinking that these gorgeous birds are smiling at us (or at least me). They look very happy and trying to smile back and that are the magic to see!
Yes!! They are indeed smiling! You can tell this huge difference between happy and unhappy birds. Samson was in full display beguiling me. He would flip upside down, look at me, and come out with a string of words, “Hi!” “How are you?” “What you doing?” He definitely wanted to interact. The lorykeet landed on me and drank nectar from my hand. You are absolutely right! They were smiling!! 🙂
Beautiful, Beautiful, and more Beautiful!!!
My work is done! Laughing~
My absolute favorite shade of blue in pictures beyond description! 🙂
Yay!! That makes me happy. Have a wonderful Sunday Linda~
Brilliant blues, beautifully photographed…quite made my morning. Thank you.
Well your comment just made mine! Thank you~
I agree Cindy blue is such a vibrant happy colour and you have found the very best in nature to show us.
It is hard to find a stunning tropical bird species to impress an Australian. Of course the lorykeet is your native, but the hyacinth is different. So happy you enjoyed and so great to hear from you!
They certainly do compete with our Aussie birds for flamboyance.
gorgeous…one of my favorite colors!
Originally, I planted only blue, pink and purple flowers at The Holler. Except for the roses. But nature had her way and blew in other seeds. Laughing. Still most of the flowers are in shades of blue because I love it too!
I have to say it’s not the blue, but the green foot that makes the picture!
I must admit the foot is pretty adorable, especially since he kept high-fiving me with it! My husband says he’s high fouring! Laughing~
Miraculously beautiful colors!
Awwww, so nice! Thank you~
Beautiful, beautiful blues! 🙂
Am I blue? Yep! Love the color too! Thank you Bette~
Yup! Those have chased the blues away… and replaced them with the blues (happier ones!). RH
Laughing, there are definitely different types of blues! Just ask Samson!!
So gorgeous, Cindy! Love the blues the way you capture them! Smiles, Robin
Happy Sunday to you Robin and thanks much for stopping by!
I am just enjoying your blues again Cindy, such extraordinary depths of colour, wound through with your poetic words, you have triggered childhood larkspur memories here 🙂
Ohhh how wonderful!! Childhood larkspur memories! You go there and I will too!!! 🙂
Oh Cindy! What a perfect post for me right now! Big hugs!
“lol” I pinned your Blue Bird to my “Accessories to ♥” Board. Now it’s on my “Animals to ♥” board so I will delete it from Accessories. (I’m smiling at this one!)
You were on my mind today. Maybe a mental message. Honestly I wish you could meet Samson. If he likes you, and he would like you, he goes to town, talks up a storm, flips upside down and asks how you are, gives you high five. It is impossible not to laugh in the presence of Samson. I hope you are well and gotta go see your animals to love board….sounds like a board I would love too! Hugz to you my friend~
u will love this one, Cindy…http://youtu.be/i0A3-wc0rpw

I am a massive Pharrel fan and I love both videos. What an awesome person!! Thanks for the uplifting vids my friend~
aww snap…it didn’t embed–but have a listen. It will have you toe-tappy happy…:)
They work great!! I like the one also where people all over the world make up their own dances to go with the music. Pharrel saw it and cried. Doesn’t get better than this~
I had beautiful blue hyacinth. They are all but gone now. Now the blues are those little weed florets. But I found some mixed bulbs that I’m hoping to plant tomorrow. I’m not sure if there are any blue in the batch, but while they aren’t – they remind me of poppies.
You are a dear for reading all of my stories… I hope they are entertaining.
Hugs. ~Jules
I love your stories my friend and they are always witty, well written and entertaining. Just like you Jules! Hugz~
You got the blues too. They are great.
Yes! We both do!!! 😉
Those are some beautiful blues. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Karen
Thank you for visiting and appreciating them! Cheers to you~
