Blue Footed Boobies~

(click/tap to enlarge)

Are grace,

in the sky,

and charmers up close.

Mexico,

off season without the tourists.

Arte de Mexico,

on every street and every home.

I have been flying around like the birdies and am not posting quite as frequently, but just like the birds, I will always drop by to see what you’re up too!

Cheers to you from Mexico & Hope you are safe & well~

      1. We are safely indoors and at the moment would need a boat to get out but once the rain stops it will soon drain away it just comes down soooo fast and heavy and the drains can’t cope and I find out where the roof leaks…lol x

  1. Thank you kind lady, I am going well in my now spring time down under. Nice birdy and they do cruise so well, and stand out with those blue feet. Enjoy your peaceful ‘out of season’, the colors are still there 🤗❤️🙏

    1. Funnily enough, I have seen Blue footed Boobies, and Brown Boobies, in The Salton Sea in Southern California. They are rare visitors and I have only seen them during El Nino years, but each time it was quite a thrill დ

Hi, Cindy! I am so sorry for the long delay in visiting your wonderful blog. I hope all is well with you. This guy is looking very smart. Lol Could we say “Like the people so the birds?” 😉 Best wishes, Michael

  3. It’s so great to catch up Cindy, … thank you for the morning uplift, … it’s grey here, overcast, but your photos have uplifted and brought sunshine to my Saturday, … cheers to you in Mexico, … and hoping you’re safe and well too, …💙

  4. I love these birds! Aaron and I watched a documentary that described how female Boobies are attracted to the males that have the bluest feet. And how the males tap their blue feet in order to draw attention to them and win the hearts of the females. It was so much fun to watch! I love your always interesting and beautiful photos, Cindy.

            1. So many choices….. I like Loreto & Magdalena Bay timed for the whales giving birth, I like Zihuatanejo and La Manzanilla more than Manzanillo which I also like. For a different experience, I love The Colonial Cities, like Queretero, Zihuatanejo, Zacatecas. Hope you have an awesome time!

  5. Cindy, I am so glad to see a post from you!!
I worry when I don’t hear from my best friends in cyberspace!
Hope you are well – I love Mexico, too – loved the colorful arts and of course, the blue feet!!
    Safe travels!!

Off-season travel is the best! Remember seeing blue-footed birds at Galapagos but not sure these are the same? They’re beautiful. I’m hoping to take off again in January for another extended trip. It’s time to fly the coop – antsy for another adventure!

Traveling about with the birdies. For a moment, I thought WP disappeared you … which seems to be all the rage these days.

    Good to see you.

    1. WP disappears the people I follow and heaven only knows what else. It is now difficult to stay logged in and comment on people’s blogs. Glitches always seem to occur in the same general direction, deamplification. It is great to hear from you Deborah & I hope you are doing well დ
