Yes, this is a different species of pelican, called The Brown Pelican or California Brown Pelican დ

These guys are so colourful! I’ve only ever seen white pelicans for real, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The further south you go, the more color you get. In Peru they are huge and very colorful! დ
So nice to see pictures of someplace warm, and those gorgeous birds enjoying it, while we deal with cold, cold, cold!! The pictures warm me just a little bit.
