Muted fall colors, (click to enlarge)

and pale powder rivers.

Canada is gorgeous,

in every season,

but fall’s,

subtle splendor,

takes your breath away,

as does a gregarious gray jay!
Cheers to you from Yoho National Park in the fall~

I have visited and hiked Yoho many times. Yes, it’s definitely gorgeous (and the gray jays are always gregarious). 🙂 Cheers.

I almost missed your very thougtful comment. Sorry! Thank you & take good care დ
Truly stunning scenery, though that water looks frigid! Oh, that is sweetest expression on the gray jay 🤍
They are such sweetees and they like to play!! დ
Lovely images Cindy. That’s the first Grey Jay I have seen.
Yay! I am happy to make the introduction. They are extremely friendly, outgoing little charmers დ
Me, too! I had no idea they existed.
They are sweet little chirpies! დდ
I love that colour of the water. Beautiful scenery and a nice close-up of the jay.
I love the pale powdery glacial rivers too & thank you! დ
Quite beautiful!
Thank you დ
Beautiful land, beautiful water…and yay for that close-up of the gray jay! Yoho in the Fall is gorgeous, Cindy. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend, Bruce
Such a stunning place, especially in the fall, and we had a storm. Beautiful დ
Beauty shots Cindy! If you take the foreground away from that waterfall,It looks very similar to Yosemite falls!
We call those birds “Whisky Jacks” and never leave your bacon alone for a second!
You’re right about Yosemite. There is a resemblence. The birdies can have all my bacon!! 😉
Magnificent
So kind of you Tangie & so appreciated too დ
Beautiful!
Grazie mille Jeff დ
Gorgeous. A favourite place if mine. XO
Thank you Darlene. We are in accord on Canada დ
Nice post with beautiful pic.
Thanks very much დ
The last 2 photos are my favourites of these, Cindy. The grey jay is also called the Canada jay. There was a proposal a few years ago to make it the official bird of Canada, but I don’t believe the government has done that as yet.
Yes. I read about this. Such a lovely, outgoing and friendly little QT! დ
Stunning.. love those pale powder rivers! Such landscapes heal and nourish!
Yes! The healing power of Mother Nature cannot be rivaled დ

Wow, the powder blue water is mesmerizing! I could just sit there and admire its color. Cute grey jay; didn’t know about grey jays, only blue ones.
The water is entrancing isn’t it. Cold pure blue. The jay was a new friend to me too. Happy you enjoyed him & cheers დ
You said it perfectly…entrancing. 🙂 Happy October.
Back 2UX2!

Yes! I agree with you and you are most welcome დ
I noticed the rail line in one phone running aside the river. What a grand view to enjoy while letting someone else drive. – Oscar
Trains run all through this region. I imagine all the amazing sights the conductors must see over the course of their career. A lifetime of nature’s beauty დ
The splendor of nature changing clothes. I love the mountain backdrop!
Love your clever descriptor! დ

Canada is glorious. Thank you Pit დ
Gorgeous place to be! The aquamarine of that river must be from glacier run-off – we saw it in Alaska.
Yes. Glacial silt დ
Gorgeous indeed Cindy, especially those craggy mountains and mineral rich waters. I remember the fresh alpine air too! Yowza!
Thank you Brad. Nature makes you glad to be alive დ
Oh! This looks very familiar (having crossed Canada twice; though the second time, we did a lot more of these types of places, being just two of us…) I went in August both times so the colours were rather different. Beautiful images, Cindy.
Thank you Dale. Canada is definitely a place that beckons you back again & again! დ
I can well imagine! OF course, being Canadian, I might be a tad biased 😉
