In a topsy-turvy world,

that spins,

like a ball,

in space,

plants grow upside down,

and fish swim in trees.

Cheers to you,

from a pond’s point of view~
These photos were taken over the years in California, at Borrego Springs State Park, The Annenberg Gardens in Palm Springs, and Death Valley National Park. (Note: Image three is posted upside down, while image four is right-side up!)

Hugs to you and yours Sheila & thank you my friend დ
So beautiful, I just can’t get enough of the desert lately! 🌵
Yes. It is the best medicine. Vast open spaces, warmth, silence and no people! დდ
Amazing clicks…
Thank you very much დ
I just love reflection shots. Good job, Cindy. Much more calm than our topsy-turvy world, however. We can only wish… 🙂
Thanks much Curt. Our world has been spinning a bit erratically lately. დ
Really? 🙂
😉 😉
Lovely…
Grazie Bette დ
Lovely shots, Cindy. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

Gorgeous!
Grazie Robert დ
You’re welcome 🙂
I want to borrow the bench for a while, and enjoy the sun and warmth far away from the snow in Ohio. Watching the water, reading a book, it sounds heavenly.
I love the ‘ponds view’
Perfect place for a hammock! Wish I could beam you over დდ
I love asparagus. Don’t much care for the smell after…
I think those are agave century plants, yes?
Agreed, on both points! Agaves are in the asparagus family 😉
These are beautiful. Cindy, especially the view from the ground of the plants that look like giant asparagus spears. 🙂
They look almost prehistoric don’t they, like a diplodocus might come ambling around the corner 😉
I love those images and the beauty reflected back with such clarity and color. Great shots again, Cindy. And from a philosophical view point it is a way we should hope others can see the unmistakable reflection of our creator in us. 😊
Seeing God in everything and everyone დდ
Gorgeous photos, Cindy, but now I’m dizzy! 😀 😀 😀
Enjoy the weekend!
Yes!!! Me too. Maybe the planet needs to spin a tad slower! 😉 😉
Cindy, thank you for these beautiful photographs. I needed them now.

🙂 Thanks for sharing Cindy. I was in the USN⚓️ San Diego off & on in the ’70’s and never really saw the pretty scenery so close in southern California 🙂
I was born in San Diego and we are a Navy town and proud of it. I hope you come back someday and look around a bit more დ
A wonderful collection, Cindy. Yes, we’re definitely topsy-turvy with this horrible virus, but I think I like your topsy-turvy better. 🙂
The desert is a very good place to be right now! Lots of empty space and sunshine giving a virus no where to hide დ
Even the upside-down world is beautiful. The ripples add a nice touch.
Thank you very much I turned one of photos upside down to add to the confusion! 😉
You sure did!
😉
Call me crazy, that last photo looked like giant asparagus 🙂
It looks exactly like a giant asparagus! I think it is a giant agave…. დ
Interesting take on it Cindy, its all how you look at it.
Leslie xoxo
Yes indeed. Perspective is everything დ
I love reflections. Yours are gorgeous, Cindy!
Thank you Sandy. I love them too, especially when your aren’t sure which is the object and which is the reflection დ

What are the plants in the last picture?
I think they are giant agaves….
I do wish somebody would turn us all up the right way again, Cindy, but your images are still lovely 🙂 🙂
Laughing…. It is hard spinning upside down for over a year now!
Thanks for your creative presentation
Wunderschöne Aufnahmen, danke Cindy
Wonderful photos, Cindy. It explains why fish rise when they fall and die!
Oh, you’re right!! It makes sense now. 😉
Something about water and greenery speaks life! Beautiful photos!
It certainly does, especially in the desert. Cheers to you my friend & thank you დ

Such lovely crystal clear images Cindy
Pauline! Wonderful to hear from you. How are you and Jack? დ
We are keeping well and busy. Not so active these days, but feel so lucky to be living in Australia. Have you had the injection yet? Stay safe my friend
Yes. I realized I would like to live in Oz on my last trip in January, before the virus changed the world. It was the birds that clinched it of course! I am not active either, which is such a big change. It is strange how daily cooking, twin care, gardening, have taken over my days. I did get the first injection and await the second. You two stay safe and well. It is lovely to hear from you Pauline დდ
Let’s hope that the injections will help the world come back to a “better” normal
Cheers to hope & health for all! დ
Beautiful and so clever. Great to see such images.
So happy you enjoyed Georgina and thank you my friend! დasdf
Gorgeous photos! The water provides a lovely oasis in the desert.
Thank you Janis. Reflection is always enhanced in desert water დ
Beautiful shots, Cindy. I could use a bit of tropical/desert vibe. 🙂
I would beam you over Eliza, if I could, and if corona wasn’t behaving so very badly დ
They’re all excellent. Though I try to avoid “favourites”, the first one caught my eye more. 👏🏻
Thank you & cheers to you! დ
Your expertise in the use of reflections is really showing in this lovely post, Cindy.
Very kind of you Peter and much appreciated. Thank you & cheers to you დ
OutSANDing, my dear friend. You will turn frowns upside down with these pics. ✺◟(∗❛ัᴗ❛ั∗)◞✺

Gorgeous. Clearest water ever.
Love to you Gigi დ
It always surprises me how much colour the desert can hold.
If there is water, the desert will come uber-alive, much like arctic regions, in the summer დ
I will gladly take topsy turvy when it looks like this! 🙂
Sometimes dizziness feels better than reality! დ
Truth.
დ
Such amazing photos Cindy..so beautiful.
I am honored…. Thank you very much & cheers to you დ
Lovely reflections.
Thank you Arlene დ
