Oz is an idyllic place for me and aptly nicknamed. I am home, hiding out at The Holler now, growing my sweet peas and nasturtiums. Be well Liz & take care <3
Oh wow, what a beautiful bird! Your images of it are wonderful. I love the detail around its eye, and the clarity is so good I can almost count the feathers!
I wish if it would be possible! They have really nice natural make up. (Smiling!). Cindy, it looks you’ve visited the most impressive fashion show in Australia. All the birds are like models from the podium.
What a beautiful bird, Cindy. I saw a photo on someone’s blog of a Strawberry Finch! Nature just gob smacks me. 😉 I would like nothing better than to fly away and see things all over the world. But I get to do it in my recliner thanks to you and many like you sharing the wonders of the world with us. You are doing a good service. Remember that always.
They have a typical parrot hoarse call sound along with chirps and squacks. You can usually find parrots if you can’t see them by their groups hoarse calls.
Cindy-
Like the birds, your talent also flies!
Your images are endlessly exquisite.
And birds, I find myself staring at them more and more envying their freedom of flight as I refill the bird feeders in my yard.
Oh my god. ❤ Beauty !
Yes indeed <3 🦜
How beautiful, Cindy, thank you! I am instantly inspired by the wonderful colours of these lovely birds – a great excuse for a new knitting project! 💕

We need look no further than nature itself for all the ideas we can handle! Keep safe on all your travels xxx
So true Liz. We are not traveling now. We are hunkering down at The Holler. Stay well my friend <3
That’s good to hear, Cindy. What an idyllic place to be isolated in (which is probably ‘business as usual’ for you there!). Xxx

Their gray backs make that red breast stunning, Cuz. Are they a breed of parrot? ☘✨☘
Yes, they are a type of cockatoo which is in the parrot family. 🦜

I’ve never seen such a bird before! Beautiful. I think the colors will inspire me in my own color scheme for creative works. 🙂
I think Mother Nature outdid herself with the galah’s color scheme and I am glad it is inspiring you to create your own! (。♥‿♥。)
Yes! 😍 there’s a blogger whose fashion is inspired by animals she sees in nature. It’s remarkable
