Late summer blooms,

invite afternoon strolls,

in Riding Mountain National Park.

Flutters follow,

your fragrant footsteps.

Flowers rejoice,

in September sun.

We are home now but it is still, cheers to you from Riding Mountain National Park~

Nature gives us its beauty with its flowers, its animals, its trees and you bring us those wonders with your photos that are a spectacle for the eyes. It’s like writing a poem full of music and color. Regards.
Oh, what a truly beautiful comment. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
Yes, a beautiful end to summer with gorgeous flowers and blooms, butterflies too. Every season brings its own kind of beauty with opportunities and nature to enjoy the great outdoors and appreciate what God has given us.
Cindy, the above reply/comment is mine. I was having trouble logging into the WordPress and Gravatar site and had to update some things on my profile when I saw that my gravatar profile did not come up, So, sorry if you were confused or wondering who replied with this comment. It was me. 🙂 It did the same thing on one of the other recent posts you did when I commented and tried logging in.
Sounds like the WP gremlims are visiting you Joyce. You have my sincere sympathies <3
Beautiful thoughts. Thank you.
I could almost smell the blossoms, Cindy. xxx
I wish I could have including the fragrance with the post!

A beautiful reminder of summer. I just wish it could last all year!
I hear you <3
Ooh, your photos are stunning!
Ahhh, thank you Jaquie <3
Beautiful photos, Cindy. What is the background in photo #1?
It is an embroidered table runner in our cabin in Riding Mountain.
Love the colours and design!
Thanks so much! I’m happy do do.
Thank you for more BEAUTIFUL photos. I especially savor the butterfly images! I still can’t wrap my brain around how two tiny potato-chip-sized wings can carry these extraordinary creatures for hundred/thousands of miles…
Yes, I feel the same marvel at hummingbirds and their migration. They fly back and forth across The Gulf of Mexico each year some flying as far north as Canada. The monarch migrate here in November and this year I plan to be around to get their photos.
These are absolutely beautiful words with images. We are in the opposite season here in northern U.S.A. where is it is crisp and and maple trees are turning crimson. I have not yet been to Riding Mountain National Park. I will read about it.
Cheers,
Joe Scudder
Lovely to meet you and I envy you and your crimson colored trees.
Beautiful colorful pictures, so lovely to see butterflies around!
Seeing butterflies seems like assurance that your day is going beautifully <3
Sorry, I was confusing you with an artist who does street art in Chile. I have been to Manitoba and Alberta to downhill ski.
No problem. It is nice to meet you.
Cindy this is a stunning post — words and images. My morning needed this beautiful break. Hugs on the wing.
Hugs back to you Teagan & cheers too <3
These are just exquisite Cindy! Thank you for the wonderful reminder of what beauty there is in the world!
Aww, thank you more for your very thoughtful appreciation <3
Beautiful shots, Cindy! It is interesting to see pink Filipendula and Astilbe blooming there in fall, I associate them with June/July in my garden. Must be elevation?
Maybe latitude as the elevation wasn’t that great but we were quite far north.
Ah, that must be it.
Wonderful shots – as usual, Cindy!
Ahhh, thanks much Leya & have a wonderful weekend <3
You too, Cindy!
<3
What a beautiful place to be, Cindy. Lovely photos 🙂 🙂

Awww, thanks so much Donna. You make me happy I posted my friend <3
Lovely array of colours!
Thank you! How are you? I haven’t seen you for awhile. Heading over to your blog now….
This is an incredibly beautiful post, Cindy. Your photos are stunning! Thank you for bringing such beautiful scenes, especially for me as I am seeing how groups of violent protesters are destroying the beautiful city of Barcelona!
Oh no! Barcelona is such a magical and artistic city. I hope they protect the art…. all that gorgeous Gaudi. Our world is such a mess. I am sorry Francisco.
I know Cindy, I also hope they protect all the art, the public and private art…thank you!
What a beautiful place. And I was completely stopped by the first photo – just gorgeous!
Alison
Awww, thank you Alison. I am loving your China series and your stunning photos.

So wonderfully beautiful.
Awww, so kind.

Gorgeous. What is the pink bush?
It’s called filipendula and thank you my friend.
Beautiful flowers and butterflies. Frost has done in our flowers and chased our butterflies away.
Winter’s coming, but at least you’re not in GOT!
The light is bliss in your captures.
Merci beaucoup mon ami <3

Lovely photos as always, Cindy. And yes, fall is in the air, probably much more so at Riding Mountain National park than in Southern Ca. –Curt
Exactly….It’s in the 40’s at night here, and 80 during the day….
Beautiful shots as always, my friend. Sending you a whole larva love…..♡₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡

Those photos make me a little wistful for the summer sunshine and butterflies. It’s wet and warm now but the cold comes and goes. I could hang those photos on my wall and have summer all year long. Love them.
I hear you. I bet it is seriously cold now in Riding Mountain and the polar bears are now massing in Hudson Bay. Sigh….I would love to be back in Hudson Bay.
A very lovely set, Cindy.
A beautiful butterfly capture. 💮
Thanks my friend.
