Poor bull sea-lion can’t catch a break!

First the Inca Tern attacks.

Then the sleeping dog rouses,

and goes on the attack too!

The dog wins!

But the big bull was not happy about it!

Cheers to you from Chile’s bullied bulls~

Great pictures of a southern sea lion v a dog and a tern taken by Cindy Knoke.
Love your commentary on this Cindy! The dog was a mite territorial, huh? Poor sea lion but it looks like he was able to let out his frustration. lol
Just a day in the life……..So happy you enjoyed & happy week!
Same to you Cindy! 🙂

Great Pictures
Thanks much & cheers to you!
I would have been happy with one sea lion. You told a story . So cool.
Awwww, so very nice of you & much appreciated too!
Look at those pictures! The big bull has some sharp teeth!
He does and he has the girth to back them up!
That’s right! Did you take these pictures near your house? It feels so free and open.
No, this was taken in Chile and I live in California.
Wow! Gorgeous there.
Yes.

Vielen dank mein lieber Freund <3
I am blown away you are in Chile!
It is such a beautiful part of the world. Chile is unpleasant to get to from where I live, but this is my third time being here. Love to you ᶘᵒᴥᵒᶅ
Awww…this poor fella needs a big hug. ʕ ⊃・ ◡ ・ ʔ⊃♡♡
Yes, he does, from an appreciative female ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ <3 <3

It’s a sea-lion thing.
Yikes! That’s quite the battle you captured.
Loved it so much. The sea-lion really was somewhat clueless about what to do with this land lubbing dog, even though they clearly had met before. This is a fishing port and that is why the sea-lions were there, to eat the refuse. The dog though, had a clear mission, to keep all sea lions off his land lubbing turf. It was pretty hilarious, and I do confess to praising said dog, when he looked at me so chuffed from his ability to repel this 800 pound mammalian carnivore. I could tell he appreciated the praise. Priceless.
Last photo is great…
Thanks much & cheers!
super toll, hier ist es kalt trotz Sonnenschein, kommende Nacht minus 10 Grad, Klaus
Sie sind sehr freundlich und sehr geschätzt! Danke und sei gut!
Sorry Cindy, the post is call A little about Me.
I will check. Thanks.
I love this real-life drama! And the dog wins….
I was proud of the dog and he was very proud of himself!!! 🐶
That bull looks as if he’s making a mighty hullabaloo. What a face!
Laughing…..He was literally, quite put out by the whole experience! ᶘᵒᴥᵒᶅ
My goodness, that sea lion is enormous! To think that little ole dog scared him off. LOL.
It’s pretty hilarious isn’t it! It shows what confidence can accomplish~
Great captures of drama, Cindy!!
Thanks much & have a great weekend!
It’s always interesting with 2 animals that don’t normally meet, see each other. You never know what will happen.
Yes. I was fascinated and surprised that this massive bull seemed cowed by the dog. The dog was seriously chuffed with himself!
Growing up I lived on a boat, and our dog Charlie would bark at the seals and the sea lions and they would bark back at him
Oh how perfect! And how amazing you grew up on a boat! Lucky you~
Seal of approval.
So clever! :0
Thanks… I hope you are not “lion.”
🙂 🙂
I love the last one how cute. These are all so wonderful. Made me smile 💕😀
If I made you smile, than I am smiling my friend~
You really have a nack for capturing great moments on the camera!
Thank you so much & I am glad you enjoyed! Have a wonderful weekend.
You are really a very great photographer. One of my school-friends – she was zoologist at the Zoo of Cologne – is the only one that takes similarly good photos. Thank you, Cindy.
Thank you more for such a thoughtful and kind comment Marie. I am touched and am sure I would like your friend დ
