Amazing as always! Such a testament to God’s amazingly spectacular creative hands! Fun quotes too. Thanks for the light you share!
Awwww, so thoughtful and very much appreciated too! Thank you~
Gorgeous, Cindy.
I just snap what mother nature creates. She rocks doesn’t she?
Beautiful shots, as always. Starting to rain, snow, hail here this week, so all the flowers that were in bloom last week are pretty well beat up, today. Thanks for the sunshine.
Yikes!!! I have been hearing of spring! Oh dear. Well the harder the winter, the greater the spring! I have never seen flowers like those in the extreme northern and southern latitudes. Hang in there~
beautiful
Mil grazi~
Stunning! You have a nice variety of flowers.
Gracias….did you know lions ear is psychotropic if smoked? Who knew? Not me. It’s supposed to be poisonous, but the hummingbirds like it!
Such beautiful flowers! It is nice to see flowers popping up again.
Yes and we have actually gotten some rain which is helping big time. Hopefully more is coming tonite~
Party of flowers
Glamorous dresses lined up
Butterflies too shy
This one rocks! May I use it with attribution in my next flower post? Wonderful~
It was for you and I’d be honored if you make use of it in any way.
These are great shots and I love the names – Ronunculus, Peace Liliy, Rose of Sharon. (Sitting Bill – I won’t tell). 😀
You are beyond hilarious and the only one who told me!!
Cracking up……I should be embarrassed but it’s way too funny. Cracking up more…..How do you spell major typo? Reclining William? Non, non non! I am not implying the heir to the British throne rests on his laurels. Before I become more politically incorrect I should go to bed.
Still laughing. I am so glad you are the one who told me, just like you did. You rock~
It cracked me up too. Sitting Bill is so cute. No need at all to be embarrassed., we all do it. I’m glad it made you laugh.
My favourite typo, of my own, is “I went to a Halloween party with some old fiends”. 🙄
Your Rose of Sharon is absolutely exquisite, crisp and fresh, as if I could pick it out of the computer screen (oh, I wished…) 🙂
I wish I could give you a bouquet~
Gorgeous! Fabulous photography!
So thoughtful & so appreciated! Cheers to you~

Happy April!!! And what a celebration your prepared to welcome a new month! Stunning photography!
I just have to add my most favourite April 1st quote!
The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year.” Mark Twain
Laughing, yes Twain must have really loved April. He Has several great quotes about it. Cheers to you my friend and thanks for stopping by~
Beautiful, all are wonderful, I will soon begin a painting for a FB friend that I following, he is such a sweet person and loves flowers, my painting will be a wildflower garden. Now that I have finished my latest poem collection I need to get this going. I enjoy all of your work. Ann
Sounds like a perfect spring project. Happy painiting!
Thank you…:-)

What brilliance ! I hope April around here starts to look this lovely. Soon enough, it will. 🙂
The worse the winter, the brighter the spring! So sending spring wishes your way!
Thank you Cindy! I appreciate the sending of it! 🙂

So many beautiful flowers! “In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.” Love that quote, by Margaret Atwood, But here in sunny Southern Indiana we’re still a few days away from smelling like dirt. 😉
I love that quote too! Margaret was quite a conservationist and someone I admire immensely. Here’s hoping your spring arrives soon~
A great welcome to Spring. They are such lovely pictures. Love them 🙂
I aim to please, so I am happy this succeeded! Cheers to you my friend~
Woke up this morning, opened my reader and saw this gorgeous pop of yellow. Thank you! Birds are singing. . . maybe it’s finally spring!
YAY! Spring is at least springing, if not actually sprung!! Enjoy & cheers!
That series of photos and narratives was beautiful and heart warming.

Cindy thanks for beginning my day in such a wonderfully beautiful way! I love flowers and there is so much beauty to absorb in these pictures….I can breathe a taste of spring through them. Have a very beautiful day, and thanks for the inspiring lift! Hugs and blessings!
Thank you for the uplifting and very considerate comment Wendell. Have a wonderful day my friend~
There is no better way to welcome April like this post. Here we see blankets of wildflowers on each side of freeways 🙂 Thank you so much, Cindy!
Yes the flowers are starting to blanket The Holler as well. The most extensive covering to date. So beautiful. Enjoy & cheers to you Amy!
After the abnormal winter, flower season is approaching, so thanks for paving the way for what is to come.
Flowers bloom more intensely after a hard winter, so you are in for a good show! Enjoy~
What beauty mother nature offers us! WOW!!!
She is just the most wonderful mother! 😛
Such a rainbow of floral colour – so beautiful and cheery. You are so very fortunate. I can smell the perfume from your ohotographs.
Bless. Susan x
Such generous and thoughtful comments! Thank you my friend and cheers to you too!
On another overcast and rainy day I needed your colorful renderings of floral beauties.
Oh I am so glad they did their job!!! Here’s hoping spring heads your way soon & cheers to you ~
We are not there yet (at spring) in my part of the world. The daffodils are up though. Your photos are spectacular and are brazen hints of blazing color to come. Thank you!
The daffodils tell you it’s not long now! You must get gorgeous blooms in Lexington! Cheers to you Dor~
You are at least a month ahead of us Cindy. You beautiful flowers make me anxious. Our foxglove plants are still leaves in waiting. Much smaller but beautiful shooting stars are popping up all over, however. Spring is in the air. Like Sitting Bull, I am ready to behold! 🙂 –Curt
Robert Frost talked about how in April the sun is warmer, but the breeze is still chilly. Still one notices that winter is losing her grip. Won’t be long now I hope!
These are so lovely! I always seem to want to pin your great photos (with credit given, of course).
Snapdragons and bachelors’ buttons! that Took me back years!
People told me that when moving to the tropics we would miss our European seasons and their flowers…but not at all! We have had the deep pleasure of knowing them for years…and can now appreciate what the tropical seasons can offer us….but I still like to see photographs!
Interesting! I wondered if I would miss the seasons if I lived in the tropics. If you had cold winters, I can see how it would be a relief. But just the change, as you say, must be interesting. Thanks for sharing & cheers to you~
Wow, these are beautiful! And I love the accompanying quotes!
Yay!! So glad you do & cheers to you too~
Just gorgeous! So many exotic flowers! 🙂
Just happy you like them Halim! Happy April my friend~
Thanks! And a happy April to you too, my friend!

I am honored Ivon, by your thoughtfulness. So very kind and much appreciated! Cheers to you~
Wonderful pictures–such bright colours–accompanied by brilliant quotes.
If you like them, then I am happy! Mil grazi~
Wonderful blooms, Cindy. Your enlarged photos are breathtaking. 🙂
I’m so glad you bothered to enlarge them, they do look much better enlarged. I set the first one as my screen saver and it is darn cheery. Thank you my friend, so nice as always~
What an exquisite collection of flowers, Cindy! I also love the Mark Twain quote. It makes me laugh (at me). Pam
I liked very much that you combined every gorgeous flower with a poem/special quote and what a beautiful flowers ! My favourites were the ones from Sitting Bill and William Shakespeare !! 🙂
Sitting Bull has lots of memorable quotes. He was quite a brilliant person. Cheers to you my friend and thank you!
April may be in the air, but so is snow. We’re forecasted for 1-3 inches tonight into tomorrow.
Yikes!!! I am hearing this! We head to BC and Vancouver soon and were not expecting snow!!! Hope your spring arrives soon and stay warm!
These flowers and your words are beautiful, Cindy! I nominated you for five awards! You can accept the awards, or choose not to, it is up to you! I feel you are worthy of all five but there may be one in particular that you wish to choose. I usually thank the ones who nominated me, nominate some ‘new to me’ blogs who I have not awarded nominations to and then contact them on their blogs! I am a bit of a rebel, although some of my first awards I really followed the rules! Smiles, Robin
Such lovely, lovely blooms Cindy and so are your words-
Welcome and thank you! I was just over marveling at your blog. Going back now…….
Cindy! You have an actual “Rose of Sharron”–my alltime favorite book (one of ’em by John) and a great name, if stock (ish) character. Wow. That flower looks like hornets just attached themselves to the end of the stems…
and you know…what if you–artist with a camera, and sensitive lady that you are–wrote some stanzas to lead us through? I bet you’d do justice to your work just as much as these greats…
I’ll give it a try next time, just because you suggested it! Cheers to you my friend~
So lovely. Today, the snow has melted enough that I commented to my husband on our morning walk – I can smell dirt! Ahh spring!
Oh wonderful!!!! I have been getting discouraged by proxy by the folks telling me there has been yet again snow storm. It’s time for spring already!!!
Oh, Cindy, I am definitely dreaming of summer tonight. 🙂 Thanks for helping strew fragrant petals on my path. 🙂
I love that last sentence especially. It sounds like you have another poem here!
LOL I could not for the life of me figure out if strew was the right tense, but I was so tired, I let the universe decide. I’m glad you liked it. Have to run to get my daughter.
One of the best thing about online communication (me thinks) is the ability to make up words! I love strew!!!!
Cindy, your floral pictures brought me great joy! Thank you! Hugs! Veraiconica
How perfectly wonderful and makes blogging so worthwhile! Hugz & cheers back to you~
oh…so that’s what color looks like, i’d almost forgotten.
ty so much for these incredible flowers Cindy, phenomenal captures.
Blooming flowers are simply miraculous to me. What a show they put on in spring. So happy you enjoyed~
These flowers are stunning! Oh if only we had smellaputers!
Well we have google glasses, why not smellaputers!!! You better email ‘patent your idea’ before google steals it! Laughing~
Ha ha ha! I have many ideas and some are actually used by the general public but I doubt anything gets under the radar of Google!
Actually, some of the suggestions I made to Gmail were created and put into use. My favorite has been the ‘undo’ for sent e-mails. 😀 My husband says I should have been an engineer…. Ha ha ha!
I’m impressed!!
Gorgeous! I’d never seen ‘Lions Ear’. That’s a wild looking thing. My favourites are the Ranunculus and Foxglove, neither do well here 🙁
I think we often love that which we do not have!! The Lions Ear is truly a strange plant, Mine is about 6 feet tall now. I planted it our of curiousity and am surprised at the size. Cheers my friend~
Gorgeous captures! I love spring! 🙂
Me three & thank you my friend!
