Squirrely is waiting for the blooms to turn to berries.

The cherry blossoms,

and shallon blooms will soon make him fat & happy.

The rhododendrons,

are a blooming,

glory.

While the iris,

are dramatic divas.

Squirrely is waiting for the blooms to turn to berries! – instantly reminded me of hearing the ice cream truck down the street 😊❤️ 🐿️
Ah, yes! Those were the days! Miss that…. ꨄ
Pretty X 10!!!
Thank you Merrill & be well my friend ꨄ
Those are some fancy spring blossoms, especially the Japonica. Happy Spring Cindy!
Happy Spring Brad. The Japonica is a tad strange isn’t it! ꨄ
Yes! 🙃
ꨄꨄ
Such a cute critter! Beautiful photos, Cindy. ❤️😊
Thanks very much John & cheers my friend ꨄ
Simply beautiful.
Renaissance Musings
So appreciated. Thank you⠀ꨄ

Those alien trees are so cool!
They do look like alien don’t they! Happy you enjoyed ꨄ
Beautiful photography!
So appreciated Lane, thanks much ꨄ
“Piers Japonica looks like sci-fi critters ready to up-root and walk away!”
Yes, they do. Scary yet luring, too.
Yes! They are actually really pretty plants, but there were two sets of these oddities which were fascinating ꨄ
Oh, I love all the blossoms, especially my favourite irises . . . but, but, but I just adore the squirrel photo – reminds me of my childhood in northern Europe where the gorgeous little devils and I were forever doing ‘it’s mine!!!’ battle in the park as far as all the acorns were concerned . . . they were MY toys!
What an incredible memory. I can well imagine them doing this and enjoying it. They are such comical creatures and are so much fun to watch. I especially enjoy watching them gorge themselves on the ‘squirrel proof bird feeders!” 😉
Cute squirrel. Beautiful flowers.
Much appreciated Timothy & cheers my friend ꨄ
May is the bloomiest month in this part of the world, with rhodos and irises. And peonies too, come to think of it. Those pierises do have an alien look to them, and Squirrely is cute!
I am in love with all your flowers. So different from at home and so verdant and rainy. Love it. Enjoy ꨄ
Beautiful!!
Grazie mille ꨄ
Beautiful photographs as always! Today here in wintery New Zealand I cut back the dahlias and what is popping up out of the ground but snowdrops!!!! Spring is almost on the way!
Oh my! How wonderful. I love snowdrops. We don’t have them at The Holler but I photographed some in Washington. Magical, little, fairy flowers. Enjoy! ꨄ
Beautiful, beautiful, Cindy! Spring is so gorgeous and your photos fantastic. 😊
Happy Spring my friend & so happy you enjoyed ꨄ
Oh Cindy, these are a delight. Your spring is going off. And yes, the first thing I thought of with those Piers Japonica was that they were up and bounding away. Probably trying to keep away from the squirrel 🤣
And the rhododendrons, I love them. They are a world of their own. Great share kind lady, thank you 🤗❤️🙏
The Japonica caught me at first glance. There were two sets of these twin trees. I should have figured they were running away from the squirrel. If I were a tree, I would run away too! Thank you Mark for always making me smile & take good care my friend ꨄ
Thank you Cindy. In fact I think the tree on the right of the ‘twins’ is a spanish horses rearing up and the one behind it is one of those flamenco dancers 🤣❤️🙏
I love bloggers. Creativity is like breathing. You are the second person who identified a flamenco dancer. Now of course, I see this too. Cheers to you & thank you Mark ꨄ
Blooming beautiful Cindy !
Thank you Ashley & be well my friend ꨄ
Beautiful flowers.
Yes. They are ꨄ
Extraordinary detail🐿️and beauty!🌺
Thank you & be well ꨄ
I feel like the squirrel, albeit stunned at the glorious blooms.
Smiling….. I feel like both the squirrel, and you! Thank you ꨄ
Spring is certainly in full bloom in your part of the world Cindy, thanks for sharing
So good to be back in touch with you Pauline ꨄ
Gorgeous flowers!!
Grazie mille Darlene ꨄ
Stunning. I think the Iris photo is splendid!
Thanks so much & hope all is well with you ꨄ

You’re most welcome, Cindy.

Lovely photos and captions – especially the last
Hi Derrick. Very pleased you enjoyed & thank you! ꨄ
Everything is looking so gorgeous and bloom-ing marvellous Cindy, … even the Squirrel looks transfixed by natures amazing colours, … and wow!, you’re so right, that spooky Pieris looks ready to go ‘walkies’, …💫🌻💫
Smiling…. What creative & enjoyable comments. Thank you very much & cheers to you Penny ꨄ
Isn’t it beautiful with all these blooms. Love this time of year! ♥
Yes! So gorgeous and love all the rain. It makes the flowers glow! ꨄ
Squirrel and flowers are finding their way directly into my heart! ❤️
That makes me happy! ꨄꨄ
Beautiful

Grazie mille! ꨄ

Your grey squirrel may be cute, but we’re not overfond of this fellah, imported from the States in the 19th century. It’s out-competed our much cuter red squirrels, which are now confined to small areas of the north, and to Scotland. Grrr. Not your fault though … Great flower portraits!
So frustrating when non-natives take over and dominate an ecosystem. Happens too often. I was amazed with the beavers in Argentina ꨄ
Now THAT sounds interesting!
They completely altered the natural flow of rivers. It was sobering. See: https://phys.org/news/2021-04-brought-humans-beavers-threaten-patagonia.html
Oh my goodness. That’s dreadful. Beavers are being re-introduced here, precisely because they work well with our river systems. But that’s the key. ‘Re-introduction’. They used to be native here but were hunted to extinction. We mess with Nature at our peril. Thanks for sending me that link.
ꨄ
Wow, what awe-inspiriting photos! The colors of that iris are spectacular! 💜
Thank you so much! That iris is quite the dramatic diva isn’t she ꨄ
So many pretty spring blossoms. It’s hard to pick a favourite.
So pleased you enjoyed & cheers to you ꨄ
Gorgeous gallery
Thank you Sheree ꨄ
Lovely.
Grazie John ꨄ
Love the spring and all the color. It feels so good after months of gray during our winters.
It does indeed. Spring lifts our spirits ꨄ
Beautiful!
Gracias! ꨄ
Stunning photos, Cindy.
Grazie mille Pam ꨄ
Fine photos, Cindy.
Merci beaucoup Mon Ami ꨄ
WOW!! Those are beautiful!!
Thanks much Liz & happy weekend! ꨄ
You’re welcome, Cindy. Happy weekend to you, too!
ꨄꨄ
What a riot of colors! 😍
Spring is nature’s riot! ꨄ
The Spring blooming is the most fresh, colourful and beautiful. On the hot summer sun all the colours are faded and their beauty not so attractive. IMHO.
So true. Flowers burst forth with energy & optimism in the spring. Cheers to you Alexander ꨄ
🌹
🤩 Gorgeous!!!
Grazie Eliza ꨄ
Ahhh…I’m just a squirrel living in a world of acorn-troversy. And these pics are outta this plant-net ミ=͟͟͞͞(✿ʘ ᴗʘ)っ❤️
Smiling….. So clever! Cheers my friend ꨄ
🫶🏻☕️🧁
Simply, beautiful Cindy! Our flowers are out too, but we aren’t as far along as you. We are having a cold spell at the moment. As long as we don’t get a frost we’ll be okay, because I’ve already planted tomatoes and they are rather tender.
Leslie
Hi Leslie. Nothing better than homegrown tomatoes. Hopefully your weather will cooperate. Cheers to you my friend & take good care ꨄ
Oh, my goodness – such lovelies!
Hi Sheila. Happy weekend my friend ꨄ
Beautiful Squirrely and blooms! Be patient squirrely for your berries!
Beautiful shots of Spring!
Thanks so much! Happy you enjoyed ꨄ
He looked hungry to me! 😉
I have the hardest time taking photos of squirrels, probably because I’m inside vs outside. Wild tree flowers the Piers Japonica is.
Yes squirrels are squirrely! Happy weekend Melinda ꨄ
Wonderful pictures Cindy! The sci-fi critters made me laugh. 🙂
Thank you Peter & happy you enjoyed ꨄ
