Sky lends beauty to the land.
Contrail lights The Holler sky,
while a rare shower,
paints rainbows in the sky.
The pot of gold,
seemed in my reach.

Some of my favorite subjects, all beautifully captured. One of my followers on Facebook constantly “corrects” me when I mention a contrail with :chemtrail”. I guess water vapor is a chemical but I don’t think that’s what he means. 🙂 Bit of a conspiracy theorist, he is.

Beautiful images, Cindy. Rainbows always remind me of my Uncle Marion (mother’s sister) who spent most of his adult life roaming rural Texas looking for the lost treasures of Santa Ana who probably would have loved to have treasures to leave behind. I always loved the adventures of going with my uncle on some of his outings. On his tombstone is a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end of it, the only one he ever found. Thanks for the lovely sunsets!
