Thank you, Cindy. Yes, letβs remember the small beauties. π
Yes. Let’s do that! α
We try to be a haven for them and love having them near.
Oh good for you! Having them in your life is such a huge honor, which is quite amazing considering they are such a totally tiny creatures α
beautiful! absolutely gorgeous!
love always,
[gotw}
Awww, thank you very much. Lots of love back to you α
What a feat to show us their wings so clearly – your photographs are an inspiration!
Visa versa 2UX2 Anne. I love your photography α
More fabulous photos of our feathered friends. Thank you Cindy.
Thank you more for appreciating the birdies Sheree α
Fantastic photos, Cindy! I love having hummingbirds around. Other birds too, but the hummers are special.
Thank you Audrey. Hummers are indeed, unique and quite special! α
Oh my gosh! You really do take some gorgeous pictures. They are all beautiful but that last one is something else! π
Honored by your kindness. Thank you & cheers to you α
It really is your work. I appreciate we get to share in it.
It is such a honor and privilege to share with people like you. Be well. α
π
Thanks for the greeting, greetings back to the wonderful flying phenomena. Fantastic last picture with glittering tail feathers.
Thank you Hans. Your appreciation is much appreciated α
Ah Cindy, we share this world with amazing creatures.
We certainly do. Be well Rebecca α
IΒ΄m not really sure if I want to be taught by the sharp swoard that bird has, beautiful to see in pinctures though.
Have a great day Mrs. Cindy. Lovely pictures as always, quite the majestical creatures, seems I like all the creatures after seeing all your photos of them.
Ahhh, that makes me very glad I posted them. Stay well and safe my friend α
Beautiful.
Merci beaucoup mon ami α
Good quality pics πΈ
Thank you Liam α
So they are
αα
The world would be a poorer place without hummingbirds. We always see them at the Lake, and I miss them here.
They are magical fairy creatures aren’t they α
Lovely pictures dear lady, and I especially love the depth of that purple color on the throat of that hummingbird in that second last picture. That is a glorious color π β€οΈ ππ½ π¦
Thank you Mark. I have some more photos that show that glittering purple even more that I will post. It has been hard for me to capture this as they flash their colors at will when they want to. These beauties are black chinned hummingbirds α
Ah, one of those situations. The light, angle and camera lady have to be just so, let alone the dog barking, someone walking by or thirty thousand other ‘things’ that these moments give π π€£
Looking forward to another purple flash…when it is ready dear lady π β€οΈ ππ½ π¦
You make me smile Mark. I was worrying, can I do one more hummingbird post for the year and not bore people and include the amazing purple flash. You just told me I can. Thank you α
Very cute Cindy! Thanks! Gary
Cheers to you Gary α
Thx Cindy..”ditto” back to you as well!

So beautiful! <3

Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful photos! β¨ β¨ β¨ You must be a professional photographer (?) Take care and stay healthy βΊοΈπ€ π¦ ποΈ π Nature is so beautiful!
You are most kind. I am definitely an amateur photographer and have had no instruction or lessons. I agree with you, nature is our most incredible gift. Stay well and thank you α
Your photos don’t look like an amateur has taken those π They are always amazing π¦ ποΈ π¦’

Thank you for being such a wonderful friend Patricia α
Sweet hummers! <3
Grazie mille Eliza α
What you said about the wings of a hummingbird is true for so many things, especially when it comes to spiritual matters. I love these little hummers. We maintain three feeders in our yard. Have a great day, Cindy!
Yes. Thank you for catching my mine meaning Peter. It is often the unseen that is the most powerful and important α
Thank you:)

Such a marvelous piece of Nature’s engineering! I love how you captured the tail feathers all fanned out! π
Thank you. They are so beautiful in flight and so hard to see! α
Great shots!
Hi Eunice & thank you my friend! α
They are amazing little creatures, Cindy.

Yes, they make everything better! α
They do indeed!

Thank you for telling me & cheers to you! α
More hummers, yeah!! I saw one just yesterday, but I got so mesmerized watching him that I failed to snap his picture. Oh, well, they’re all beautiful!!
Just watching them and being in the midst of them is the biggest treat of all α
Absolutely admirable, these pictures.
Ahh, honored, Thank you! α
Capturing the wings must be the hardest of all. Wow!
Thank you Jennie and yes, getting the accordion pattern of the wings visible is difficult for me. α
You are welcome, and a big bravo Cindy!
α α
You must have had your camera set on the fastest shutter speed possible!
I have tried to photograph hummers at the fastest settings, but I didn’t like how they came out which is odd, I know….. α
Well, whatever you did here, it was definitely the right thing!
Gorgeous.
Grazie α
You’ve done it aqain… “wow” sending love and HUGS
Sending both back 2UX2 α

Wow!! especially the last picture. That one is stunning capture. Love the way the tail feathers spread out – just like an F-15 taking off.
Oh my gosh, yes, they are like a tenth of ounce F-15’s!! Thank you for this metaphor. I think F-15’s pilots, if they knew anything about hummingbird flight, would actually be really jealous. α
I particularly like the one with the purple throat.
I have never been able to get the black chinned hummingbird flashing the purple before. They flash their colors at will, and he is black headed most of the time, and just flashes the purple for a nano-second. I have a better photo of the purple flash and I will do one last hummer series for this year and post it. I think the purple is amazing too α
B E A U T I F U L, Cindy! Thank you!
Thank you more Fabio for being kind α
Cindy, you are so fortunate to have these sweet little creatures around you.
Thank you for sharing their perfect beauty with us, via your amazing photography! α β¦

What superb photos, Cindy! Beautiful indeed. Hugs on the wing.
Hugs and thank you flying back to you Teagan α
That last picture was breathtaking – I had never seen anything like it. Incredible.
Thanks for always making me a little smarter about the creatures that surround us.
Thank you for being such a thoughtful friend Sheila α
They’re so delicate, I wonder if they’re as small as the Colibri butterfly that we have in our Country? πΈPawkisses for a Happy WednesdayπΎπ½π
Hummingbird moths are generally smaller. They are however easy to confuse with hummingbirds because they look and hover over flowers in such similar ways α
<3
I love all your hummingbird shots, Cindy. I haven’t seen any this year but there is a lack of flowers in my yard.
Thank you Kerry. They definitely follow the flowers! α
AWESOME PHOTOS!! Aren’t hummingbirds amazing, no other birds can fly like they do! “Just because we cannot see something, doesn’t mean it isn’t there.” So true. We can’t see God but we can see His handiwork! This little hummingbird is enough evidence for me. π
β€οΈcarmen
Yes, indeed Carmen thank you for understanding my friend & stay safe α α
Oh the purple! Gorgeous.
So happy you enjoyed him! I have one more photo that highlights the black chinned hummer flashing that brilliant purple even more clearly that I will post next as my last hummer post of the year. I was thrilled, because I was never able to capture it before. α α
They are hard to capture, they are so fast. They are something to watch.
They are a very fun challenge! α
Cindy, thank you so much for these astounding and lovely photographs!

So true… wonderful images, Cindy. Hummingbirds are a challenge to photograph and you’ve done a great job! Wishing you safe and healthy days.

Compare with the body this tiny bird has small wings. It is surprise for me how it can fly long distances.
Some migrate up to 3,900 miles! Most migrate alone. Hard to imagine isn’t it. α α
Yes, key to remember when feeling negatively!!
It certainly helps! α
Beautiful and amazing birds! Thank you, Cindy for sharing the beauty with us.
I so love their Indian sister/brothers- the asian sunbirds!
