  1. IΒ΄m not really sure if I want to be taught by the sharp swoard that bird has, beautiful to see in pinctures though.
Have a great day Mrs. Cindy. Lovely pictures as always, quite the majestical creatures, seems I like all the creatures after seeing all your photos of them.

  2. Lovely pictures dear lady, and I especially love the depth of that purple color on the throat of that hummingbird in that second last picture. That is a glorious color πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

    1. Thank you Mark. I have some more photos that show that glittering purple even more that I will post. It has been hard for me to capture this as they flash their colors at will when they want to. These beauties are black chinned hummingbirds დ

      1. Ah, one of those situations. The light, angle and camera lady have to be just so, let alone the dog barking, someone walking by or thirty thousand other ‘things’ that these moments give πŸ˜‚ 🀣
Looking forward to another purple flash…when it is ready dear lady πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹

        1. You make me smile Mark. I was worrying, can I do one more hummingbird post for the year and not bore people and include the amazing purple flash. You just told me I can. Thank you დ

  3. Its so refreshing… For eyes, mind and heart😍😍😍
Thankyou so much for for sharing this with us πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
Stay safe, stay healthy and happy πŸ’

  4. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful photos! ✨ ✨ ✨ You must be a professional photographer (?) Take care and stay healthy β˜ΊοΈπŸ€— 🐦 πŸ•ŠοΈ πŸ‘ Nature is so beautiful!

    1. You are most kind. I am definitely an amateur photographer and have had no instruction or lessons. I agree with you, nature is our most incredible gift. Stay well and thank you დ

  5. What you said about the wings of a hummingbird is true for so many things, especially when it comes to spiritual matters. I love these little hummers. We maintain three feeders in our yard. Have a great day, Cindy!

  6. More hummers, yeah!! I saw one just yesterday, but I got so mesmerized watching him that I failed to snap his picture. Oh, well, they’re all beautiful!!

    1. Oh my gosh, yes, they are like a tenth of ounce F-15’s!! Thank you for this metaphor. I think F-15’s pilots, if they knew anything about hummingbird flight, would actually be really jealous. დ

    1. I have never been able to get the black chinned hummingbird flashing the purple before. They flash their colors at will, and he is black headed most of the time, and just flashes the purple for a nano-second. I have a better photo of the purple flash and I will do one last hummer series for this year and post it. I think the purple is amazing too დ

  7. Cindy, you are so fortunate to have these sweet little creatures around you.
Thank you for sharing their perfect beauty with us, via your amazing photography! დ ❦

  8. That last picture was breathtaking – I had never seen anything like it. Incredible.
Thanks for always making me a little smarter about the creatures that surround us.

    1. Hummingbird moths are generally smaller. They are however easy to confuse with hummingbirds because they look and hover over flowers in such similar ways დ

  9. AWESOME PHOTOS!! Aren’t hummingbirds amazing, no other birds can fly like they do! “Just because we cannot see something, doesn’t mean it isn’t there.” So true. We can’t see God but we can see His handiwork! This little hummingbird is enough evidence for me. πŸ™‚

    1. So happy you enjoyed him! I have one more photo that highlights the black chinned hummer flashing that brilliant purple even more clearly that I will post next as my last hummer post of the year. I was thrilled, because I was never able to capture it before. დ დ
