Are definitely the best.

The most interesting folks stop by.

Whats for lunch?

It’s an awkward question for me because I hadn’t planned on wallabies stopping by.

The good news is, they aren’t picky guests!

Cheers to you from Australia’s friendly wallabies~

Words got around Cindy – these wonderful, wild, wily wallabies are in league with the picnic-addicted Rosellas. No outdoor food table is safe! 😀
Thoroughly enjoyed perusing your photographs. I’m quite taken by these marvellous marsupials.
Thanks for airing and sharing 😀
DN
Yep. We are a hot-ticket with the avians and marsupials. They are my kinda-people! 🦘
A typically splendid set
Awww, you are very kind Derrick. Thank you.
Awesome pics Cindy!!
Grazie Gary!
Awww you make me homesick. Seen any emus yet? They’ll grab your lunch right off your plate.
Alison
Laughing…. I did see an emu and I love your home country Alison!

You are a most thoughtful friend Patricia. Thank you <3
What cute lunch mates you have Cindy! Cheers! 🙂
It was strictly an A-Lister picnic Brad. You are always invited! 😉
LOL. I’ve never been on an A-List before. 🙂
You are always on my A-list Brad.
👀
So cool!!
Grazie!
What cute faces!
Sweet, peaceful eyes.
Cindy, thank you once again for your lovely photographs!
You are more than welcome Charles & cheers to you my friend 🦘
Definitely raises the cuteness factor — thanks for snapping them for us!!
Thank you more for appreciating them Debbie 🦘
They appear curious and seem friendly. Do they typically enjoy human contact?
They were apprehensive and had well activated startle reflexes. They moved closer over the course of the afternoon, but they remained wary. They basically are wild creatures.
What fun, Cindy. 🙂
Happy Weekend (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
I love these adorable animals. They bring new meaning to my rhyming song with children, “Willaby Wallaby.” Thank you, Carol!
Australia has the best names for things. They make you smile. ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
They really do, Cindy. 🙂

I’m
I’m so sorry, Cindy!! Autocorrect wants you to be Carol. Apologies!!
No worries. I like the name Carol <3
Haha! 😍
Watch me wallabies feed, mate
Watch me wallabies feed
They’re a dangerous breed, mate
So watch me wallabies feed
Laughing…..Aussie names are definitely the best!
We’ve has everything from Cardinals to bears stop by to visit our picnics but never anything that brought a “to go” pouch.
Laughing…..And then there are the egg laying mammals. I just took tons of photos of an echidna!
Lovely to see you are still enjoying our beautiful country and meeting some of the locals Cindy.
Cheers.
Cheers back to you! We just got home and I already miss wonderful Oz. We have now spent two months in Australia on two trips and it is nowhere near enough time.
Their poor ears! Especially the one that looked like something had chewed half its ears off. At least the other just had a nick in one ear. If only they could tell their stories of what happened to them.
I want to know too. It looks like tagging and then maybe birds? I don’t know.
Hiya, just re-followed you…not sure when or how i stopped!
Gorgeous pics as always!
I will have to see if I am still following you. This happens to me too. Even people I regularly follow often don’t show up in my reader.
How sweet! (And what great photos!) Is this in an enclosed location, or do they just roam free and come that close to people?
They are fully wild and chose to come to us. There weren’t people around as we came with the rains, that put out the fires, so it has been an amazing experience to be with wild animals by ourselves.
Gazing at your pictures gave me my fill of nature today. How very interesting the animals are. I make do watching birds and squirrels this time of year. Enjoy. Thank you for the post. 🙂
Thank you for such a thoughtful response & have a wonderful weekend Mary Ann~
My pleasure, Cindy. You as well. “”__””
<3 🦜
Aww I love these. I’ve never seen a kangaroos close before. So sweet 💜❤️
They are sweet and quite timid. Happy you enjoyed them & cheers Michele~
oh, I love wallabies. I had the honour of interacting with some of them at a wildlife sanctuary a few years back. They are so gentle and beautiful. xxx
I am glad you had the chance to get to know the wallabies. They are gentle and beautiful 🦘
What a great story – and series of photographs. Although, that one wallaby, with the chewed-up ears, looks like it’s been in a few streetfights…?
Thank you and yes, poor wallaby. A blogger just sent me a link explaining the ears may be caused by a parasite.
These wallabies are so cute! Wonderful to see them this close. What an adventure, Cindy! 💖
They were shy sweet creatures. Happy you enjoyed them & cheers!
I´ll just comment on this post, Cindy you are a great photographer. I have no clue about photography or how you people do it to capture certain things at certain moments, what lenses you use or cameras e.t.c.I just love going back to your blog and watching that photography. Your photography. Thank you.
Awww, Thank you. Stay safe and well my dear friend Charly & love and prayers for your beautiful mother ღ
My mother… Appreciate the comment at 5-30 a.m Spanish time and not able to sleep, including the thinking of mother does not make me sleep. Apreciate the comment very much.
I appreciate you Charly, a lot~
Both the text and the photos put a smile in my heart.
Your kind comment did the same for me ღ
