Who do you think you are?

Can’t you see we’re busy?

You are not a member of our clicque!

We have a hard enough time getting along with each other.

You are just toooo much!

We just want to rest in peace,

but you human, are not getting the message…..

and you are NOT invited for dinner.

Besides we are much more handsome than humans.

Cheers to you from the handsome haughty herd of Cannon Beach Oregon~

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an elk in person before (well, maybe far off…like with mountain goats), so that you for sharing these handsome (and vainglorious) creatures with us, Cindy! 😍
So happy you enjoyed them Teresa. They are a thrill to be around and quite confident critters, just like the bunnies……. Maybe it’s an Oregon thing! 😉 𐂂

What a lovely conversation you had with those handsome elks.
It was kinda one way though, as they were not interested in what I had to say! 𐂂
Haha a bit snobbish…

Great set, Cindy. Interesting to see their budding antlers!
Yes. The velvet is lovely isn’t it 𐂂
Cannon Beach just keeps getting more lovely! Thank you for sharing the wonderful photos of all your adventures. I have vicariously visited so many places in the world over the years following your blog that otherwise I would never even have known existed. Thank you, 😊
You are a joy to travel with Susan. You make the experience much richer and more rewarding. Thank you my friend & stay safe and well.
Wow. They’re right, they are more beautiful than we are. Gorgeous photos. Thank you.
Yes. No need for salons, botox or any of that artifice for these beauties. You are so very welcome Gigi. Thank you for your wonderful friendship over the years 𐂂
Beautiful photos, Cindy! They are so cute! 🥰
Aren’t they adorable. Your posts continue to not show up in my WP Reader. Even my husband was unfollowed from me! Thanks not so much WP!
WP has always had ghosts in the machine. The decision to stuff the Block Editor on us was ridiculous. I use a Plugin to continue with the legacy editor. Maybe this nonsense will make some folks return to Blogger.com. I started there many years ago. I’ve never used the Reader, please visit the actual site.
Yes. WP errors appear to always occur toward a consistent end.
Indeed… I wish there were another platform out there that has the same kind of community as WP…
Exactly. The community is what keeps me here.
Me too! 😊😊
𐂂𐂂

🙃
Handsome and so regal. And he seems to know it!
Yes indeed. Genuine inner confidence shows!
We had a lot of elk on the family ranch in Montana. I miss them, especially the sound of the bull elk bugling.
I have seen them many times in Montana and Wyomming and took photos of them bugling and fighting during mating season. So exciting. I have also seen them in the winter in Jackson Hole when they cluster for feed. Gorgeous animals. Check out: https://cindyknoke.com/tag/bull-elk/
😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😊
𐂂𐂂
Well Cindy, we haven’t had an elk in our back yard.
Leslie
Life is so unfair…..We don’t have them at The Holler either.

Handsome elk, indeed! Loved the conversation… even if they did intend to throw us out. LOL. Hugs.
Smiling….. It was like, “You can stay here if you don’t talk or move or annoy us in any other human way…..”
