The Other Cali: Part I~

(click/tap to enlarge)

California isn’t all ocean,

sun and surf.

It is also mountains,

snow and ski.

Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes California averages 400 inches of snow each year.

We have been coming here to ski annually for almost 55 years.

Another storm is arriving this weekend!

Gearing up.

You can see Mono Lake in the distance where we are going tomorrow.

Cheers to you from Mammoth Lakes in February~

    1. I am so sorry I missed your comment Eunice. I hope you get my response. I am happy you and Mike are in touch. He sounds like you. Adventurous. Be well both of you.

  1. I had no idea Cali got snow, I’m in Pennsylvania, omish city with some of the best churned cheese and sausages 😋 Your pictures are enlightening. Thank you ❤️

    1. Synchronistic. You have no idea how much I love Amish food and craft, and how much I love to cook the recipes. My husband was born and raised in Iowa City, and many of his relatives came from, and live, in Kolana Iowa.
I want to eat your cheese and sausages! I know how amazing they will be. You touched me. Thank you *:・゚ᨒ↟
