Our neighborhood goes all out. It’s really something. I love seeing the little ones dressed up and the teenagers, too. They’re all polite and clever and sweet. The littlest ones are perplexed by it all; next year they’ll be Halloween pros. Thanks, Cindy.

Oh wow, beautiful — I love the moth! It’s so delicate, but it’s eyes are glowing. Not so sure about the snakes though! (never recovered after watching that part in Indiana Jones when they fell into the snake pit!)💙

Bats were flying around the house that we didn’t dare to leave it. Then some kids came around with creepy face masks while we were watching a horror film.

No. It is a large moth with huge eyes, but the red comes for the flash as I photographed this guy at night! 🦇

In 2023, we got invaded by the Rustic Sphinx Moth. The ground was covered with green caterpillars for weeks.
I saw a similar and truly eerie thing in the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The whole rim was invaded and infested with Black Witch Moths. I have never seen anything like it. It was really awful. They managed to get into everything დ
“Mildly” venomous? 😳
