I saw my first roadrunner in Arizona years ago and knew exactly what it was from the cartoon!

Great character and photo. Guess you can’t always choose where a bird will place itself for a photo. Product placement and bird choice is probably not easy marketing!

OMG love it. Reminds me a little of the seagulls on Revere Beach that like to beg/bully French fries! But he/she could run them right over…with the energy drink too…
PS There is a hawk that flies over the bay/harbor, likes sit on the fence on the break between my seawalls right where I have no trespassing signs posted (because I don’t want folks to climb up/further damage them.) Would make a great photo but I never have a camera on me.
Smiling. Sounds wonderful. We have a variety of hawks, falcons and kites here, but they rule the skies, and the roadrunners run the joint on the ground. I have seen both hawks and roadrunners attack and eat rattlesnakes. Formidable birds. Happy you get to interact with a hawk. That is unusual as hawks tend to be wary of humans დ
