You just need,

to be alone,

silent,

and still.

If you do this,

you will find,
that birds are avid people watchers!
Cheers to you from the always observant birdies~
Note: Featured birds are a Stellar Jay and American Robin.

Gorgeous pictures, Cindy
Lovely photos…the colors on these feathered beauties are stunning.
Thank you very much Kate. They are our fine feathered friends დ
Gorgeous!
Grazie mille Susan დ
Yes! And to be in the right spot at the right time. I’ve only seen Blue Birds a few times in their travels. Mostly I see robins, cardinals, wrens, chickadees, jays and woodpeckers. A bunch of different black birds and of course the creek birds; ducks, geese and the heron! 😀
Smiling. You are a fortunate person Jules, and you deserve it დ
As much as anyone who pays attention…
~Thanks.
დდ
Beautiful!! 🤩 👏
Thank you John. I hope you are well დ
Yes. Thank you. You too.
Lovely as usual Cindy. The hummingbirds here (in the country house) love the sugar water dispenser. The grain dispenser has been a total failure… No idea why. We brought it back home, and there it works… The plot thickens.
I am so glad you have them now! Hummingbirds are nectar and meat eaters, they can’t eat grains, but they can eat the bugs that fly around the grain feeder. Just use grain to attract other seed eating birdies, and before you now it, you will be all bird’s best friend. Stay safe & well my friend დ
🙏🏻
My favourite color!!!! 🙂
I am guessing blue? Smiling დ
Yes- blue. I love seeing colorful birds. I see Red Winged blackbirds in some parts of Ontario. Baltimore Orioles, some Blue Jays. It is rare to see such natural beauty and natural colors. A real treat. So glad you capture them with a camera! Dont ever stop!!!
Smiling. Wonderful that you enjoyed your feathered friends. They make the best neighbors!
what a beauty!
Happy you think so & take good care დ
Beautiful birdies! And I don’t doubt for a second those birds are very observant. 🙂 xx
Smart lady! Cheers to you Debbie დ
Hugs 🙂 xx
What beautiful up-close photos of these 2 birds! Thank you for letting me see them in such detail! Happy bird watching to you, Cindy!
Hi Kathy! Happy you enjoyed my friend & thanks for stopping by დ
Although Stellar Jays have a horrible call, they are stunning birds and your photos have captured their beauty. I love their crazy “hair”.
They are wonderful aren’t they and I love the hairdo too! დ
These are awesome pictures, Cindy. I don’t think I’ve seen a Stellar Jay in real life.
So pleased to make the introduction and I am very pleased you enjoyed him. Thank you & cheers Carla 𓅼𓅓𓅮𓅣𓅰

Love the colour of that stellar jay. So vibrant. Bernie
Yes. Birds are beautiful. Happy you like him & cheers to you Bernie 𓅼𓅓𓅮𓅣𓅰
I agree with birds watching people. Small birds crowd around my feeder in the tree branches to watch as I fill it with their mix of seeds each morning. We both get pleasure from this daily ritual.
Yes! It is wonderful, isn’t it. They know you and are expecting you. My five year old twin grandsons always ask me, “Are they your pets?” I answer, “No. They are wild birds.” Hummingbirds buzz my window if the feeder is empty. A grandson will say, “Your pet birds want food.” 😉 😉
“Stellar Jay” – fantastic name for a gorgeous bird 🐦 And the American Robin is a delight to behold too 😀 I saw Humming Birds for the 1st time during my trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲 😀 Mind-blowing! Try as I might they were just too fast for me and my camera or I managed to be outside without it at the crucial moment (usually early morning when bleary eyed walk around the hotel grounds was happening 🙃) Never seen anything like that close up and in real-time- their colours and those super long nectar drawing beaks astounded me and the speed they hover at! Birdlife outside the UK is so bright and beautiful and amazing!
Smiling. Hummingbirds are truly magical creatures in every way. I have however spent many hours in rapt fascination watching birds in the UK. Two recent experiences come to mind; in London I spent hours watching magpies torture and bedevil a family of foxes. They were hilarious. I had just come from Africa, and was having major wildlife interactions in the heart of London across from the British Museum! Plus there were Egyptian Geese and parrots in St. James Park! I was impressed. Also in front of an old church in Oban, I spent quite awhile watching a very intent raven repeatedly dropping a rock from up high onto mussels below to crack them open. This prompted the minister to eventually come out and ask me, “Why are you so interested in this common bird?” I showed him what the bird was doing and he became interested too! I think your birds are beautiful and amazing too. Cheers to you my friend & take good care 𓅼𓅓𓅮𓅣𓅰
