Desert Bighorns~

A herd,

of Desert Bighorn does and kids.

Rare,

shy,

elusive.

Hanging out with them,

proves,

in life,

some days,

are better than others!

Cheers to you from The Desert Bighorns~

  1. You got to hang out with the Bighorns. That is way cool, terrific, and I’m guessing not something that happens often. How wonderful, Cindy! Your photos are fabulous!

    1. I have definitely encountered herds of Mountain Bighorns before, but the desert ones are much rarer and shyer, so spending time with them was amazing. Thank you very much Jennie & cheers to you 🐐🐐

  2. Like vs Don’t Like, you surely do, and don’t we too, deserve something more expressive than this humble tool? Your visions of the natural world, they, they live inside that world. A rare opportunity for us to see.

I confess my sin is simply wanting more, more of you as I follow your many threads. Thanks Cindy.

  3. They rule! I once took one of them to a herd of woolly, round, short legged and hornless Dutch sheep. He asked: What’s that? Those are family of yours, I said. He looked at me in utter silence, almost a minute long. Then with a mighty jump he dissapeared into the sky, gone in a whisper, not a trace of him was left. And the sheep stared to the sky with teary eyes, till one began singing a hymn and before long I stood next to the strangest choir I ever listened to.
