  1. Wow! Cindy, words fail! Wishing you a magical Christmas filled with laughter and love … look forward to more of your amazing and uplifting posts! They always fill my heart with joy and wonder! Xx 😀🌲

  2. Very lovely collection, and a very happy Christmas to you too. (Melk is the place where, when I was a prickly teenager, my mother memorably asked to buy a ‘Stift’ in a postcard shop… Decades later, it doesn’t sound quite so bad…)

  3. This just goes to show that we humans are capable of creating great beauty, given the right inspiration. I will hold to this thought in the year ahead. All the best to you and your family this holiday season,

  4. Hey Cindy,

It seems when human-beings (reach for and) engage (with) their higher faculties, creativity knows no bounds and beauty is the reward for devoted endeavour: ’tis poetry in stone.

Wonderful photographs, as is your style, thank you.

Best Wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous, healthy New Year.

    DN

  5. What gorgeous buildings, Cindy — thank you for showing them to us here. Each one is very grand and awe-inspiring, as a house of worship really should be. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

    1. I agree with you Debbie. These places are stunningly peaceful places of refuge for all who walk in the door. What a concept! The Joy of the Season to you and yours Debbie 🌟

  7. Merry Merry Christmas, my dear friend. Looking forward to the wonders of 2020 that are waiting for us. Love the photos and the beautiful stories behind them. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the artists, writers, musicians, poets and on and on for the beauty they add to our lives.
