Thank you Eugi & Happy Solstice to you my friend ꨄ︎
Happy travels, Cindy! You’re certainly visiting a beautiful part of the country. I’m fond of waterfalls — the way their spray hits you on a hot day, the rainbows they make.
Yes! I love the fairy shower spray too! Magical. Best to you Debbie ꨄ︎
We pass that area often going to visit family.. so beautiful!!
Yes, so beautiful ꨄ︎
Wow! I wonder if Lewis and Clark saw these beauties.
Oh, I am sure they did. And they never would have gotten anywhere without their female guide Sacagawea. She met them in North Dakota, maybe? She led them all the way to the Pacific. Her expertise was her multi-lingual/culturally sensitive ability to communicate across native nations/ and her ability to track in even native untracked wilderness. She led them to the ocean she had never been before. Wonder why we all know about Lewis & Clark, but not this amazing person? She does have a statue in DC. But it doesn’t seem sufficient ꨄ︎
I do know about Sacagawea, and she truly deserves much more credit and recognition. How she was able to communicate as well as navigate is remarkable.

Such Beauty…
Ah, thank you. Be well my friend ꨄ︎
Lovely. I remember being in Maui… some of the waterfalls are natural. Others were man made. The pools of the ‘Seven Sisters’ were man made. So we didn’t visit them.
I didn’t know that some of the Maui falls were man-made. I knew one fall in Oahu was modified for the movie South Pacific and I slide down it’s concrete slide into the natural pool over and over again as a kid. We shouldn’t mess with Mother Nature. She is so much smarter and more powerful. I hope you are well Jules ꨄ︎
We are attempting to adjust to the fickle weather. Up in triple numbers followed by thunderstorms causing flooding. Thankfully after digging my side gully deeper over the years the water doesn’t come up that side of the hill all that high any more 🙂
I think I’d like to go back to the Islands again… maybe a different one though… but there are other places to go to locally and out of state. Not venturing out of the country all too soon at the moment.
Smart of you to dig that gully deeper. We are heading soon to Greenland. Hope they let us in………
Wow! Standing on that bridge must be amazing. Thanks for all of these gorgeous shots, Cindy. Hugs.
Hugs flying back to you dear Teagan & cheers my friend ꨄ︎
