The Holler is a bloomin’ glory!

The fruits are flowering,

the narcissus are self centering,

the daisies are dancing,

the iris are iridescent,

and the coco locos are yet to turn lavender!

  5. I think what I said a minute back to your other flower post – now double it. You are kind indeed to share with us, cause I don’t know if I were in the middle of all that I might not have time for anyone else – lost in the blooms. Of course, Beautiful.

    1. The Coco-Locos are amsazing roses. They bloom chocolate, and then turn a gorgeous lavendar. Their scent is divine. I have several of them. And yes, re: the potheads, they remind me a bit of Madame Alexander Dolls, beautiful but strange 😉 😉

  37. For a moment there, I thought I was in Athens, Cindy. The flowers are bursting forth here too. The Forsythia are almost finished as are the crocuses and the apple blossoms but tulips and Allium are not at their full yet. Of course we are quite a bit behind you being in Canada. Again you have taken some lovely photos.

  49. The potheads kind of remind me of my daughter’s story about when she first went to Australia and was flabbergasted by the way people kept talking about pot plants until she figured out when they said pot plant what they really meant was potted plant.

    1. Spring has sprung! More joyously than in ten years at The Holler, since the extended drought is gone, for now. It is May and we have showers predicted for Thursday! Happy Spring to you Georgina დ

  59. All are so, so beautiful!! I love the purple with orange on the daisy. I was unaware they came in those colors.
    I don’t know about those potheads, shouldn’t they be wearing wider grins?

  68. The change in colors on those dancing daisies is beautiful, as is that pale, pale mauve on the coco loco. Love the alliteration, too!

  69. The coco locos are beautiful. I have a plastic ladies head like those pot heads with a plant to look like hair I love it. Whenever I see them I remember a trip my parents took us on to the British museum and we were wandering around and went down a corridor with lots of heads on plinths and feet and other oddments, we were posing for photographs behind them you know adding the arms and legs outstretched when a very serious man ushered us out, it turns out we’d wandered into a store room.

      1. That is true we still laugh about it now. One of the best shots was my little brother Tom, he used to bite his nails sometimes, there was a giant stone foot on a low plinth and my Dad snapped him bending down pretending to bite the toe nails. There were three empty plinths and we all stood behind one with our eyes closed like the busts . The curator must have been horrified if he saw us on his security cameras, although we were good and didn’t climb on them or touch them, could have been worse 😂 🙃.
