OK big pictures now. Lovely, of course, but it also brings out the wanna-be geologist in me. Studied some this last year. A beauty that can only be most appreciated by inference because we just live too short to otherwise see how earth moves in its shoes.
Two geology comments in a row. I love this since I love geology! And yes, the fault line thrust of this mountain is spectacular isn’t it. I have photographed it twice, and have an image of it framed in my house from about 8 years ago დ
Stunning landscape captures, Cindy. The geologist in me is doing cartwheels seeing that awesome inclined stratigraphy on that peak in the distance. Do you know the name of the peak?
Wow, Cindy…that flat face on that mountain has to be a serious glacier cut. That is amazing, it’s size not truly realized from this far back but it would be…well…mountainous! 🤣 A beautiful share, thank you 😀❤️🙏🏽
So beautiful! I’m a little bit homesick now because these landscapes and lakes quite look like the Bavarian Alps. 😉
Have a fine weekend, dear Cindy, and stay safe!
Spectacular photography, Cindy. Alberta is a remarkable place to visit and to live. The skies go on forever, the lakes are clear, and the wetlands and agricultural areas demonstrate the variety of landscapes.
Thank you for that visit down memory lane. Growing up, most summers were spent with my grandmother and seven cousins in Canada. We traveled about Western Canada and worked for an aunt and uncle who owned the food concessions for the Royal Canadian Shows…
How wonderful to hear from you Lea! I haven’t seen you blog in ages. WP does this. It unfollows people with not warning. How amazing you spent summers here. You must have such special memories. I hope all is well with you. I am heading over to your blog now…. დდ
It is always lovely to hear from you. Your posts don’t come directly to me but I do see some of them when Charles reblogs them. You can message me on LinkedIn if you like. Some things are not shared with the wider audience and I’m not blogging at this time. Bisou
Yes. WP appears to be capping traffic by removing follwers and people from The Reader. They stopped people like Charles from reblogging my posts by removing the follow button. Hopefully I have restored it. I hope all is well with you Lea and take good care my friend დ
Amazing Setting and great landscapes Cindy. I love the clear water where one can see the bottom of the lake and the reflection of the trees and mountain at the same time.
When I am on a wilderness canoe trip, those are some of my favorite moments.
I am so sorry. I found you comments in the WP spam folder, hence my late reply. Your lovely comment makes me happy I posted. Thank you sincerely. Happiness & Health to you in The New Year! ⌚🔢🕛🎊

Oh look, scenes from home 😀 We only go once a year or every other year but when ever we go, it’s like Christmas morning again and again. It’s about 4.5 hours from Edmonton, so not a day trip. We’re lucky to be able to go in off times though and never on a weekend, ha!
Beautiful landscapes.
Thank you Timothy & cheers დ
Living in BC I have to admit I’m biased, Cindy, but you do a very good job at making BC look even better than it already does.
You are so lucky to live in such an incredible place! I am like the everyready battery, I just keep coming back! დ
That’s good, that you come back.
დდ

It’s Mount Rundle. I just google image searched it and found it!! It is in Banff დ
Jaw-dropping gorgeous, wow!
Awww….. Thank you very much Eliza & be well დ
Those are such pure blues and greens! 💙💚 There’s a reason why the BC license plate had the logo of “Beautiful British Columbia”!
Yes indeed! A strange case of truth in advertising!! დ
Gorgeous shots of BC, Cindy. Upon “reflection,” great pictures all!
Smiling. I like your reflection! Thank you very much & cheers დ

One of my favorite parts of the world 🙂
I well understand why დ
A number of our friends left this country decades ago and I can see through your magnificent photographs why, when they reached Alberta, they stayed!
Yes. I understand too, albeit, I think your country is unparalleled on the planet. Thank you very much Anne & be well დ
What a beautiful place!
It is incredibly lovely დ
I thought it would be wearing a heavy FIR coat now ready for the Winter months.
Huge Hugs Cindy. Beautiful photographs as always.
I am sure it is bundled up mightily now, waiting for the avalanches! დ
I thought it would be wearing a big FIR coat now ready for the cold Winter months.
Huge Hugs Cindy. Beautiful photographs as always.
Wow, Cindy…that flat face on that mountain has to be a serious glacier cut. That is amazing, it’s size not truly realized from this far back but it would be…well…mountainous! 🤣 A beautiful share, thank you 😀❤️🙏🏽
Love it! It is mountainous. You make me smile Mark. Thank you & cheers დ
