  1. Awesome close ups! They are beautiful. Love their blue colouring. I have visited the Oregon coast before (Lincoln Beach). I have relatives in Portland. One day I will return and this time I will bring my camera.

  4. He’s cute! These guys are the official bird of British Columbia. I think they’re related to crows. I remember hearing a bunch of them creating a tremendous racket near a road I was walking along. Sounded like a family fight!

  8. Cindy, I just reveled in your beautiful lake photo, and now I am astounded at your bird photos. Photographers who can capture beauty from afar and also up close AND bring emotion to the viewer on either end, are the best of the best. I’m so glad you are among that group.
