  1. This year my ‘snack’s must be great. I have a Cardinal couple eating out of my window feeder every morning, and a Finch couple coming by at lunchtime and the Oriols love my oranges and the jelly. I am happy, they make me happy.

  2. Love your commentary “..and quality of your snacks, ” Cindy. Lovely photos of a very graceful acrobatic act. Orioles nests are fascinating, too.

    1. Yes, their nests are engineering marvels aren’t they! Birds are amazing. Thank you so much for your appreciation of them and your wonderful photographs დ

  3. I love the photos and story Cindy! Clearly I need to up my snack offerings, or maybe I’m just not that interesting to birds (or people!). Maybe I should try upping my snack game with friends! 😜

    1. Yes. I have found that high quality snacks are a sure-fire way into birds, and people’s hearts. The only problem is, you are left wondering, “Do they like me for me? Or is it just my snacks?”
      Cheers to you Brad. დ

  5. I didn’t realize birds could remember people, Cindy — how interesting! I bet these beauties are glad they found The Holler … and YOU!!

    1. And I am so glad they are here! Many birds have excellent memories. Woodpeckers remember where they hide thousands of acorns. (I can’t even remember where I put my keys!) Ravens remember people who do mean things to them for many years. (I can do this too! 😉 Parrots remember lots of human words. The list goes on and on… Thank you Debbie for caring about the birdies & cheers to you my friend დ

  6. What an artist, 🙂 They are really remembering humans? Great! Today I had heard this from jackdaws. After two Turkish pigeons, a friend’s (linsenfutter.wordpress.com) bird feeder is now conquered by a jackdaw. Why do we need artificial intelligence, when there is so much unknown in nature? 😉 Thank you very much, Cindy! I hope you will have a beautiful week. Best wishes, Michael

    1. Jackdaws are seriously intelligent birds. Tell your friend to be polite. Jackdaws remember individual people who do mean things to them for many years!! 😉 😉 Thank you Michael & cheers to you my friend. დ

    1. I have been thinking about you and it is wonderful to hear from you. You are an amazing person. If I can do anything at all to support you, please email me. I hope you know how many people in this community of ours loves, respects and cares for you. I am just one, of many. დდდ

      1. Cindy, thank you so very much for your kindness. And thank you for you lovely offer. I’m towing the line solo now, but I will keep your generous offer on the back burner. Hugs xox

    1. Ravens and crows remember people who do bad things to them for several years! They carry grudges too. So mind your p&q’s around your feathered friends!! 😉
