Feeling a bit stressed out these days? (The Beagle Channel Argentina).

Who isn’t? (Banff National Park Canada),

Let’s escape (Coastal Norway),

to peaceful places (Vancouver Island Canada),

and forget our worries (Zermatt Switzerland),

for awhile (Huahine French Polynesia).

I will do another peaceful images post after this (Yellowstone National Park),

because we all benefit from balancing negativity with peace and beauty (Grand Teton National Park).

        1. Further north, somewhere between Port McNeil and Port Hardy. We always start in wonderful Victoria and drive until the road stops. We stayed on this trip just south of Port McNeil, but we did go west from there too….Sorry wish I could do better.

  31. Thanks for providing one more way to relieve the stress. We all must cope with it. And find the best way that helps. I think coping is very individual. One size doesn’t fit all. Maybe we only need a good cry or something to laugh about. Or maybe 365 differt ways each year.
    However we cope we must be careful not to add to the stress of others.

    Your blog has always gives us a sense of well being. Takes us to places we may never visit….but feel we really have been there.
    Hopefully we will get over the current stressful time soon.

    (See I’m coping by writing …. 😉 )

  37. I’ve visited and lived in many of those places. So beautiful. Just one small correction, Banff National Park is actually in Alberta (where I live), and the photo is of Vermillion Lakes, Banff.

  68. Ah, to see the world again. I spent Christmas in Zermatt four years ago with my niece and her now husband. It was wonderful. The Matterhorn is a delight in any light. Thanks for the memories. Happy holidays, Cindy, and the best for the coming year.

  81. So beautiful Cindy. You sure lucked out with Beagle Channel – we went out in rough weather that evolved into a raging storm by the time we got back to Ushuaia where it had been snowing! Didn’t see none of them beautiful mountains 🙁

    1. Oh dear! We were supposed to return for a third time in January, but that is of course cancelled. On our second trip the mountains were obscured by clouds for our boat trip up the channel. Our kids came with us so it disappointing, but the sun did show up before we left. It is a stunning place, even in the clouds დ

In October Hubby and I trekked up ‘Kittatinny Mountain is a long ridge traversing across northwestern New Jersey running in a northeast-southwest axis, a continuation across the Delaware Water Gap of Pennsylvania’s Blue Mountain Ridge.” – Just really halfway straight up (or so it seemed) I did get a photo of the Delaware River… but it isn’t on the PC yet 😉

    Last week we had about 8-10 inches of snow. All gone now due to all the recent rains… but it really looks so peaceful, especially before the squirrels and neighbors dogs cross the yard!

      1. The mountain was about two and a half hours from us. Trying to visit local things (or fairly local anyway). We don’t always get snow here but this morning around 9 am it is only 27 F.

        It would be a joy and pleasure if you and yours were in our area and we could be your guides 🙂 There’s things we haven’t been able to do in our local city yet either. And there is so much history there!!

    1. Thank you! I am happy you like it. I think you may be referring to The Matterhorn in Switzerland. It is an incredibly beautiful place. The other mountains in the post are the ethereal Andes on The Beagle Channel, also an ethereal place. დ
