bursting to rival spring flowers.
Citron, ruby, pearl, amethyst.
A bejeweled thorn garden,
with cactus fairies dressed in buds.
while lowly barrel floats cellophane flowers.
Arid desert landscape,
yields burgeoning blooms.
Cheers to you from the flowering desert~
Thank you. 🙂

I’ve been to San Diego but never to the park or gardens. And of course, I’ve never been to The Holler. 🙂 Great photos.

Gorgeous to see the desert in its festival wear. It makes sense of the clothes people wear in Mexico for festivals.

What are the purple flowers in the first picture? (The image is named: dsc01119.jpg)
I am in San Diego, and I’m trying to figure out what type of flower this is, cause I’ve seen it before, but I haven’t known what it was called.
