Non-bloggers may not understand the depth of our individual and community connection. Hopefully, they might start a blog and find out for themselves, if not, it is their loss.

  1. Your words and pictures are beautiful Cindy! It’s wonderful to read your posts and see the world through your eyes. Blessings for a continuing rich experience with your writing and the many friendships you have nurtured through your sharing and receiving of kindness and support.

    Your friend,
    Jan♡

  2. This is a superbly beautiful salute to and embrace of this amazing WP family we’ve all come to love. Their r such wonderful spirits here and we all give and learn so much from each other. These pics express these feelings far better than words ever could..but I truly love both mediums..goddess bless u all🙏🏼😇👼🏼

    1. Yes!! I truly never in my wildest imagination could have ever have pictured the beauty of this international blogging community. Such kindred souls reaching out to each across distance and culture, finding deep communion and support for each other. Truly a beautiful community that I feel so fortunate to have stumbled on. Hugs to you my friend~

      1. Prophecy or curse.. that remains to be seen :D.. will they stand up and accuse me of being outre.. or will they even think I am sacrificing them so that I can grow myself… or will it be a true spring… ? One in which everyone will bloom equally…
I am so confused.. I don’t know what kind of flower I am anymore.. and you know, Cindy, never mind this faux-philosophy 😀 I am just being incoherent…
Let us hope that this spring brings hope for us all.. I hope, sincerely..
Thank you for your kindness and the warmth of your words.. I truly appreciate it.. maybe I do not do justice to them either by replying flippantly. Just feeling a little more worthless than I was before.. haha…

      2. You do justice to yourself whenever you speak your truth, even more so when it is complicated or confusing, what you refer to as incoherent. People’s truth has a ring to it, the flippancy, the anger, all the surface stuff falls away, when the truth comes out. Nothing wrong with flippancy, anger, it’s just the stuff below it is more real. I hope that there is a hopeful spring for all of us, but like you, I see the world, and doubt it too.
Thank you for responding with your honest confusion. I appreciate your courage and intelligence, and your worth and dignity.
        Keep on shining~

    1. Who knew? Certainly not me, that one could get to know people so well, and become so connected to this unexpected community. It is a life force of it’s own. Happy Sunday Andy~

  3. Cindy,
You are what makes a community. You take us to unique places in Europe and in ‘The Holler.’ I also see that you take the time to answer each and every comment on your blog. That takes a lot of time and (I was going to say a lot of effort, but no) a lot of dedication to your readers. You are one in a million. I hope we never lose you from the blogosphere. Be good and feed a few critters for my sweetheart and I.
    Wally

    1. You were one of my first blogging friends Wally and you are one of my dearest still. We have been through some good and some sad times together my friend. I send you and your beautiful wife my love and friendship, always. <3

  4. You outdid yourself here Cindy. In this case a picture of flowers is worth one thousand words. Our community is as unique as each blossom, but together the garden we create is even lovelier than the sum of its parts.

Cheers to WordPress and the magic of blogging.

    much love,
    Linda

    1. So very true Linda, and I know you, as a clinician like myself, have been surprised by this incredible community we have lucked on to. Sometimes life and people can be so good! Love to you Linda and all the best my friend~

    1. That is because it is an awesome community composed of incredible people who would never have met each other in everyday life. It’s like we tossed our selves into the cybersphere with our fingers crosses, and untold wonders came flying back at us! I am so grateful. Hugs to you~

    1. Some questions are unanswerable and some things unknowable. All I know is that all of us together are a force for good and I am so fortunate to be a part of it. <3 <3

  5. What a remarkable and lovely expression of gratitude for this WP community we have all come to love. You always do this with grace, style and beauty. Thanks for that, Cindy. 💕

  6. Very beautiful pictures, thank you for posting them up for the rest of us to get a chance to see this beauty also. Hope you don’t mind but I just re-blogged it, give others a chance to see that prettiness also.

    1. I am honored and touched. Thank you. It took a long time for me to articulate my feelings, but my feelings for our community and the good that I see here everyday, finally had to be expressed. It is a wonderful world to be a part of. Thank you my friend and cheers to you~

    1. They don’t. It’s like Pythagorus trying explain the world is round to the flat earth society. They think it isn’t real because they haven’t experienced it. It’s kind of nice. It makes it our unique world.

  7. Your flower photos bring Spring, almost overwhelmingly. And what you say about blogging is so true. I sit and wonder, sometimes, just why…how can it be that human connection with persons you’ve never actually met can be so intense and gratifying? Are we after all more spirit than body? At any rate, I am like you, every day glad for all of us who have found each other in this special way!

    1. Yes, you are poet. You understand well that deep human connection can occur solely through the written word, but you can’t actually interact with the poets you read, unless of course, you both happen to blog! <3
There are many aspects unique to blogging that make for a deeper connection than you have with someone you may see regularly but superficially, in the non-virtual world, in that bloggers share with each other the deep creative aspects of themselves. Out of this grows conversation, discussions about thoughts, feelings, life events, whatever is on someone's mind. You do this over time, and you get to know a different side of people. They become your virtual friends and I posit that these friendships although different than what we are used to, can be as rewarding as any friendship.
It is a new virtual world and I embrace it because it builds connections and bonds between people across all sorts of previously unsurmountable divides. You and I for example, would never have met, or made a connection were it not for blogging.
      Long may you blog Cynthia~
PS- I had to come back later and add, yes miraculously we are all essentially spirit, something that was never acknowledged in the smart family I grew up in.

    1. It’s hard to articulate it isn’t it, especially when there are nattering non-blogging nabobs about, saying virtual connections are dangerous or “not real.” They really don’t know what they are talking about.

  8. Well done and said Cindy! It seems you and I were on a similar wavelength tonight. I’m just so thrilled and thankful for all the amazing people I’ve come to know through my blog. Thank you so much for being one of them! Your photos are always amazing and bless me so much with their beauty and your caring and compassion do the same. Love and hugs, Natalie 🙂 <3

    1. Yep, I hear the truth resonating from you Natalie, and it doesn’t suprise me at all that we are on the same wave length. We are all blessed to have the opportunity to know each other. You suprise and impress me at times with the depth, courage and sensitivity of your postings. You keep on shining Natalie. <3

  9. How radiant! Where is that flower shop (2nd one from the top)? I’ve never seen one that’s literally covered with flowers everywhere (overhanging, etc.) before.

This is a beautiful tribute to all the various bloggers out there – unique in style and personality. What a wonderful thought. Thank you Cindy! <3

    1. You are example of a person I feel closely connected to Lynn, so thank you my friend. That second photo was an outdoor flower shop in Amsterdam. I was going to do a whole post on Amsterdam Flower shops, but I stole some of the photos for this post. The Dutch do their flowers like no one else in the world. Be well my friend~

  10. This is so sweet. I feel like a flower 🙂 Beautiful sentiments and photos, Cindy. It is an amazing community. I had no idea when I started that I would feel connected to people all around the world, some whose names I don’t even know.

    1. You are a beautiful flower in our blogging garden. I had no idea at all that blogging would open the door to such an incredible group of people, as you say from all over the world. What a wonderful gift~

  11. Your wording is wonderful and the photographs are perfect Cindy. It’s a fantastic community full of new growth all the time but which grows closer with each passing season.
Wishing you a wonderful new week.

  13. Dear Cindy, your blog brought me great joy. What beautiful floral pictures. We are living in such a beautiful world. You truly take the best pictures. Hugs! Veraiconica

  14. Wonderful post and photos, Cindy 🙂
Flowers bring us peace, tranquility and beauty wherever we are or who are.
    Have a nice Sunday, Cindy!
    <3

  15. Thanks, Cindy! It’s true this is a surprising blogging community–in its diversity, its creativity, and its commitment to sharing and expanding our worlds. I hope the connections we make last a very long time!

  16. What a lovely post, Cindy! You’ve just gladdened my Sunday afternoon and said it so much better than I ever could. 🙂 It’s a joy to be part of your world.

  17. The perfect way to start the week – the glamorous and stunning elements of flowers. Thank you Cindy, you bring an immense amount of joy through your photographs and generous spirit of sharing – it wouldn’t be the same without seeing your posts and spectacular visuals. Thank you as well for always being present no my blog and for your continued encouragement and support – yes there is something very special about the blogging world.

  18. True thoughts Cindy. I feel the same way. Gorgeous flowers and thoughts. BTW, I here Death Valley is really packed with wild flowers this year. I’ll be there in a couple of weeks. Hope they are still blooming. –Curt

    1. Yes, they are calling it a super-bloom. Borrego is blooming too, but we haven’t had as much rain so no super-bloom. I love Death Valley and look forward to your photos.

      1. I know, exactly what I thought. These wildflower desert blooms are so ephemeral, and when they bloom like this, in a super-bloom which I have seen once in my life, it is very hard to doubt the existance of a God who loves flowers.

  19. Bonsoir BELLE JEUNE FILLE CINDY

I couldn’t find my comment, but it doesn’t matter if I’m commenting twice. This post deserves double Kudos!

  21. Stunning show and tribute to our blogging community, Cindy! All over the world…we support each other, learn from each other and enjoy one another. This could not have been done in a better way – thank you for the privilege of belonging to such a beautiful community.

  22. Thanks for the great combination of uplifting photos and words. I had no idea that this wonderful community would have such an uplifting effect on my perception of the world and myself 🙂

    1. Neither did I! Could you have even imagined such a thing? I certainly couldn’t. We are equally suprised, but a chance to get to know you Nick, clarifies why blogging is so important. Be well my friend~

      1. Ha ha. THIS highlights why it’s absolutely incredibly! I have LITERALLY just hung up the phone with my mum, where we’ve had an in depth conversation about this. Specifically you and this post. It is a privilege to know you. You take care to my friend 😀

  23. Such a lovely and timely reminder of why I value this community of bloggers so much and how sad it was to be plagued with bloggers block and not be able to dream up even a small post with which to contribute to this community. Beautiful flowers and gorgeous photos 🙂 Wolfie hugs 🙂

    1. Oh my God! You don’t have to be so incredibly, brilliantly, wonderful all the time, to weigh in here. I just want to hear from you. You posts are truly remarkably exceptional, so I understand why you hold yourself to such a high standard and wait for inspiration. I anticipate your posts eagerly.
You could just weigh in with a photo of a nebula or something and say your’re thinking……
Or you could do what you are doing, and we will wait for you.
You are so worth it and you are always in my heart. <3

  24. Cindy you have uncovered the beating heart of this wonderful blogging community in these glorious and uplifting photographs. I treasure the connection with you through WP posts. Travelling the world with you in your cyber suitcase and through your beautiful photos. The many and varied blogging buddies I look forward to “chatting” with and sharing our worlds, our activities and the millions of bloggers out there are an inspiration and hopefully it will keep spreading to create a world of friends who share love and peace. Now if only all politicians and world leaders could share in this community spirit known as blogging it could maybe save the world.

    1. Yes!!! I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say! This quote from you sumsup our community perfectly, ” The many and varied blogging buddies I look forward to “chatting” with and sharing our worlds, our activities and the millions of bloggers out there are an inspiration and hopefully it will keep spreading to create a world of friends who share love and peace. Now if only all politicians and world leaders could share in this community spirit known as blogging it could maybe save the world.”

  29. I thought you were going to talk about a community near you, maybe a gardening community, based on your first few photos, but surprise, I find you talking about bloggers. And that includes me!! Thank you for you!

    1. You are a true joy and honor to know Brenda. I really can’t accurately express how much I like and value you. You are the sunshine, the gentle rain and the beautiful flowers, all in one lovely person~

      1. It’s so rare I hear such lovely words, especially now that my kids are getting older. 😉 I love your joyful and supportive presence in the blogosphere, and I often see your smiling gravatar preceding me places. I love knowing your world blooms with beauty and that you plan to share that here. Somehow, that gives me hope about human nature and our world. Long may you travel, capture our unique world with your lens and share your thoughts here. XOXO

  30. Cindy I am just back from Australia and Fiji and what a delight to return to find this post. I couldn’t agree more about the supportive network and community in blogging. We had the good fortune to visit 6 bloggers in Australia who we had only met virtually before. The warmth, kindness and connection once in person strengthened our belief in this wonder world wide group.

    1. You know of course why I follow you. I so look forward to one of your carefully thought through posts of places far and farther. I am reading about Turkey learning from you for my trip there in 2017. I finally saw your photos on San Miguel on facebook. I am really looking forward to your posts on Allende.
This is who you are. A person who people eagerly await to hear from.
      Be well Alison.

  34. These are all lovely Cindy. I am so ready for everything to be blooming now. Some of the flowering trees are beginning– mainly the locust trees, shedding over everything in the way, but others are beginning now. And real green stuff out my window. YAY!

  45. I think I could have set up a tent in the middle of your first photo and stayed there for as long as the colors would have me. This shot would look great hanging up in my place, especially after the greyish winter experienced. Cheers to a great spring.

    1. Ahhh, you are such a good virtual friend Randall. I turned this shot into one of those photo boards and my friend has it hanging in her entry way. I must say it looks very nice there. Thank you Randall, for your thoughtfulness~
