When we look deeply into
the heart of a flower,
we see clouds, sunshine,
minerals, time, the earth,
and everything else in the cosmos in it

What gorgeous gardens. Those photos really did them justice, Cindy
This has to be one of the most beautiful gardens, but then again, there are so many!!
The photos certainly portrayed this.
Beautiful photos and perfect quotes. Thanks for making my morning 😀

Awwww, such a wonderful blogging friend! <3 <3
Queen Elizabeth Gardens is one of my favourites!!! Last weekend we were at Butchart Gardens after the Highland Games. And then three days ago, my computer had a meltdown so I’ve been computerless until now. It was a reminder for me that we are connected by wires and cables. Great to be back and visit your amazing blog! I’m so glad that you enjoyed our part of the world.
I have been to Buchart several times. Never enough.
What is it with you Canadians? You live in one of the most amazing natural unspoiled places on the planet, and you keep on making gardens?
You Canadians rock. Big time.
You are so right – we have lots of gardens and walkways. Did you make it to Stanley Park? I love Lost Lagoon and E. Pauline Johnson!
Oh yes! I have been exploring different parts of Stanley Park since I was a child. It is so wonderful. The aquarium is incredible and something I visited this trip. Enjoy the Highland Games!
Fabulous!:))
I was very impressed, so I’m glad you like it too!
Beautiful post Cindy!
Awwww, merci beaucoup!
A brilliant set of photos…
Such an honor from you my friend~
Gorgeous ! Beautiful flowers I like
Then I am happy! <3 <3
Oh my, I drooled my way all along the way! Gorgeously gorgeous! Thanks for sharing these wondrous miracles of nature. xx
The landscape designers at this park are truly brilliant to have figured out the color juxtapositions and floral and tree placement. The flowering rhododenrum’s were magnificent~
amazing 🙂 cant take my eyes off !
That is how I was!! Thank you! 🙂
It’s a beautiful world, at least in parts. Always a pleasure to see nature in far of places. A very worthy pursuit to show it. 😀 ~ Snappy happy.
Yep, I am snap-happy!! Love this term and very much appreciate your thoughtfulness Graham, always!
The words and the images are just magnificent, Cindy.Flower spirituality is something that speaks very deeply. Flowers have a spirituality of their own.
I very much agree with you Don. It is remarkable how many famous male poets and writers and philosophers have written about flowers as such. Doesn’t fit negative male stereotypes at all does it?
Certainly doesn’t.
Very lovely, Cindy. RH
Mil grazi!
Oh Cindy ! What an oneiric floral series !!! Loved the title and all those beautiful and brilliant floral faces !!! Have a peaceful and creative week,my friend ! Love ♥ ,Doda 🙂 *
Awww, hugz to you Doda and peace too! <3 <3
Dear Cindy,
Thank you for posting these exquisite flowers.
Thank you dear Ranu for appreciating them!
I just love the tulips and I love strolling through the gardens with my hands in my pockets….great post, Cindy🙋
Doesn’t that imagery of walking through gardens with your hand in pockets catch you? One observes and soaks it up and doesn’t want to alter a thing, like an art museum full of precious art.
You read my mind, Cindy!
Gorgeous! Thanks Cindy!
Thank you for the appreciation~
Such rich Spring shots – has to be B.C. or the U.K.? Wherever – they feed the soul – thanks.
Finally going back to the UK in 2015, can’t wait to see the gardens!
Wunderschöne Blumen, liebe Grüße und einen schönen Tag wünsche ich dir.Gruß und Freundschaft.Gislinde
Ich bin so glucklich, Ihnen die Blumen Gislinde genossen. Vielen Dank mein Freund!
Once again, Cindy, I’m bowled over by the beauty captured by your lens. 🙂
We are so lucky aren’t to live in such a beautiful world! <3
Oh, Cindy! Flowers have hearts. I LOVE that sentiment! LOVELY photos, as per usual. ;oP
Yes, I love it too and it is so true!! Cheers to you my friend~
There is just something about flowers that lifts my heart. I look at them and smile. Thanks for the smiles!! These are beautiful!
This makes blogging so worthwhile for me! Hugz to you~
Same to you!!!
So beautiful and well manicured. the garden looks like a work of art
I think that is exactly what it is. Every view a fine painting! Thank you Pauline & cheers my friend~
Ahhhhhhhhhh! 🙂
Yes!!! What a wonderful world!
Great photos with wonderful quotes for illustration. Or was it the other way around. Only one thing was missing: the bugs, that I might add, are sometimes as colorful as the flowers. 🙂 –Curt
Oh yes I love bugs, but there weren’t very many of them, possibly in summer, but I have never been bugged by bugs in coastal Canada……wow, you’ve got me alliterating Curt!
Ah, alliteration. 🙂
Wow!!! They are gorgeous.
Just what I thought and felt! <3
I just love the beautiful quotes you choose to accompany your gorgeous photos, Cindy!
Such remarkable thinking that gives us all much to ponder~
I love the tulips and wished they stayed in bloom longer. I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and are now enjoying a wonderful week ahead.
Which I know you are Antionette, with your gorgeous, intelligent sons and now healthy husband!!!
Beautiful.
Mil grazi!
Wonderful post! Please use “Follow Me” widget so that we could get email when you post a new post. It is in widgets on a dashboard. Best to you!
I am following you my friend. Love your blog!!!
Cindy, you misunderstood me. The widget will allow all your followers to receive emails every time you make a new post. It saves our time as we don’t need to go to your blog to see if you posted anything new..
Oh okay! Thanks. I will look for it. I know you also can check the box to receive posts in your email of all the blogs you follow. You either check this and receive the posts or don’t so you won’t. There are multiple ways I guess, to do the same thing on wordpress. Thanks for the heads up~

Thank you Cindy! Such deep rich lovely colour. And I love the quotes you chose to include! So many people seem stressed out now and this is a perfect antidote. Breathe in beauty, remember the endless breaths in and out of Mother Nature’s cycles of life. In a moment of watching a bee visit a flower our whole life can shift in subtle ways.
How beautifully expressed! Thank you my friend for all you do~ <3
Beautiful! But not easy to capture the cosmos!
I admit that would be harder!! 😉
The flowers look so perfect – impossible to improve upon nature.
Exactly my constant thinking!! Thank you for stopping by & cheers to you~
Spectacular! Thought it was Canada – looks like Victoria’s gardens. So pretty!
Canada is just beauty everywhere you turn!! Cheers to you and thanks too~
una fiaba!!!!!!!!!!
Mil grazi!! <3
Simply stunning! I love how you married your quotes with the absolute beauty of the flowers. I am a flower girl myself…my art…whatever that may be…usually evolves around flowers. Thank you! Blessitude 🙂
Anyone who loves flowers is a friend of mine! Your art is stunning. Cheers & thanks for stopping by~
Cheers back to you from the hinterlands of the Great Lakes, Cuz. It finally got up to 80deg here 🙂
Looks like you’re enjoying Canada very much, and it’s such a varied and wonderful place to enjoy.
Not much changing here except the yard…, we’re re-landscaping the entire house/property (with exception of a few major trees). Keep the pics coming, Cindy. They’re beautiful. Hugs.
Oooooh can’t wait to see what you do with you property. You have the artists eys. Hope you post when you’re done!
Beautiful words to capture the beauty of the gardens. Lovely!
Wonderful to hear from you Wendy and many thanks!!
Fabulous pairing of images and quotes Cindy! Love them all.
So happy you do & cheers to you!
Cosmic! What better place to find the world of the cosmos than in the heart of these beautiful flowers 🙂 Brings brightness and beauty to the Wolfie heart!
If I succeeded in making Wolfie’s day than I am more than content! 😉
Must be a beautiful fragrant place to hang out.
That is the problem with photos, they don’t capture the frangrance which is so much a part of gardens!
Every single picture should be framed, they are so beautiful. The flowers, the trees, just amazing! How do you take such great pics?
Awww, this is so very kind of you to say and most appreciated! Thank you~
Loved it all Cindy. I’ve been to QE Gardens in Vancouver but not at this time of year, thanks for taking me there today too! I really loved the unique double daffodil with the salmon coloured centre. Can you imagine planting that many tulips? WOW
I was struck by how creative the color juxtapositions were…..I wouldn’t have thought of pairing yellow and deep tulips for example. but res ipso loquitar. Stunning results~
The yellow and purple is a very regal colour scheme,
hence QE gardens. Thank you for introducing new terminology, I had to google ‘Res Ipso Loquitar’…love that! “Speaks for itself”! sure does.
Thanks go to you re: purple & gold!!!
Just gorgeous!
Merci beaucoup mon ami!!
Stunning! Both words and photos. 🙂
So happy you enjoyed & cheers to you!
lovely photos Cindy.. <3 all are beautiful
