Butterfly in a Winter Wood~

We are in the air and on the move. If all goes well, my next post will be from sunny San Juan Puerto Rico! I will not be able to post, or comment on your wonderful posts for the next few days. But once we settle in, I hope to be back and blogging at least some of the time. Meanwhile I leave you with these holler butterflies and hopes that all is well with you!

  1. These are OMG fabulous! The first butterfly appears to have a long horn out on top of its lead. 😉 …Hard to pic my favorite, but the 1st, 3rd, and 4th are the most striking to me.

  2. Have a great trip. I will look forward to a new exotic locale down the road a spell. 🙂 Love the butterflies. Sigh of pleasure for the living flowers that have fled our cold waste land.

Thank you Cindy! So colorful bright and cheerful- imagine this post is just what the dr ordered for everyone stuck in blizzardsville with grey skies and below zero temps! I hope you have a good trip and I look forward to seeing the magic your camera makes of that gorgeous island:-)

  4. I love your butterfly post, they are so colorful and fragile, gentle beauty! Love the poetry too! Have a safe flight and wonderful time on your trip! Hugz Lisa and Bear

  5. My late Grandma feared white butterflies. She was rather superstitious.
She was raised in a superstitious family and believed that white butterflies are ghostly beings.
She did not dare to harm them but she kept freaking out whenever she saw one in the house. LOL

  6. Cindy, your artistry in this field is due to your ability to reimagine everything you capture. This just came to me in an epiphany.

It’s like genres of photography, really. Looking forward to “our” visit to sunny Puerto Rico

    1. Look farward to sharing with you! I am always loving your posts although have a harder time accessing them when far a afield! If I haven’t liked a post of yours it is because I cannot access it. You know I love everything you do. Cheers & hugs my friend~
PS- Couldn’t find how to comment, but that last ensemble you posted was not only genius, unbelieveable that it wasresale, but also drop dead gorgeous! You rock!

  7. Magic colours to cheer up this UK resident, here! It’s just grey and grey and more grey, plus rain, rain, rain. No self-respecting butterfly would come near our winter! That’s why I love to follow blogs like yours, Cindy.

    1. Well you know how much I appreciate you dropping by and how much I enjoy your blog! Right now the Holler is in the worst recorded drought in history with an extremely high fire risk…….I would so welcome some cold greay rain!!! Perspective is everything! Cheers to you~
