We are so unbelievably lucky aren’t we?
With all the complications of life and many thoughts on ours minds, we tend to forget. We have to make a point of stopping our minds and just experiencing our senses. A few good photos are a reminder. A worthwhile thing to do. You have an effect. Have a duck for luck ,….(‘)> 🙂
Thank you my friend! I would love to have a duck for luck and have never heard this before but think it is just ducky! And yes! We must take some time to smell the roses and consider the lillies in the field~

Thanks for the flowers! I need them in this gloomy time 🙂
Sending you warm thoughts and positive wishes! Hugs too~
It;s so wonderful to see these flower photos when nothing is blooming now…
I will keep them coming then, every once in awhile, all winter long for you!
Wow, such stunning pictures, especially the yellow rose! 😀 Wonderful flowers – I can never resist beautiful pictures of flowers, and I get drawn to take them too. They seem to call out to me!! 😉
They are calling out to you!! Take their photos! They live for you to. (Besides, I want to see them!)
Complete with Datura/Jimson Weed, I note. Georgia O’Keeffe would approve. 🙂 Do you know the story behind Jimson Weed? It stands for Jamestown weed. Some of the locals used it to give several British soldiers a “trip” they weren’t planning to take. Apparently they sat around naked and drooled a lot. –Curt
I wondered who would know this and I am happy it is you! Such a beautiful and unappreciated plant that grows so ignored in trash dumps and such. And of course it is a potent hallucigenic which also has medicinal properties. I am moving seeds to The Holler. I also like the gourds. Had no idea it was used for combat though!! Fascinating…….
Beautiful indeed, Cindy. It has always been one of my camera’s favorite flowers. –Curt
Very seductive … and well done on the images and finding the quotes!
Thank you kindly & most appreciated!
Lovely, as always. I especially like the yellow rose, but I’m partial to roses, as you know.
Who doesn’t love a rose??
If there is someone, I’d rather not meet them~
My sentiments exactly 🙂
Absolutely gorgeous, as usual! Thanks Cindy!
Thank you ma deah & cheers to you~

Same here ma deah! I think we may have a chance to meet in San Fran in 2014!
I really enjoyed your photos…I used to snap a lot of floral close-ups myself. The quotes really brought a lot to the post…some I know, some new, but all of them contributed to the pics. It’s like the quotes made the colors more vivid.
Awww. How kind and how appreciated! Thank you & cheers to you~
So very lovely!
