I love my little Sony HX300 camera! I stepped out and clicked the moon two nights apart, no tripod, no additional lens. It did a pretty good job. Check it out and see what you think!

Really those shots have been by “HX300”?……I thought of getting a compact Large zoom,hi end camera. At present,this one and sx50hs are available with 24~1200;In websites,I could read,sx50hs is better and some say hx300 is better. I’m in confusion and dilemma in getting one of these cameras. but I love sony! If those moon shots are really by “HX300”, I couId understand its capacity and I can enthusiastically go for HX300.
