    1. Oh yeah! I hate jet lag. We are like The Hellstrom Chronicles out here! Bugs, bugs and more bugs. The camera catches all sorts of bugs I don’t even know are in the photos! Cheeky bugs~

    1. Isn’t it. It’s growning in a pot and just started to bloom while we were away. The gladiolas are blooming too. I usually miss them. They don’t photograph well because they are a dark midnight, purple. Gorgeous!

    1. Aren’t the calves adorable. I never knew cows could be so endearing but they are. I can see why cowboys called them “doggies.” The calves are just so sweet. Thank you~

    1. Aren’t they wonderful. It has been a whole new learning experience for me living with free range cattle. They are social, they bond intensely with each other, they grieve if a cow dies, and they roar like dinosaurs!! Who knew??

    1. I love them all except the B1 Bomber. Actually, I used to be terrified of the B1’s. Now I am not and get close for photos and such. But they will fly at you, buzzing like, a B1 bomber. I need to ask Emily Heath what they are (see above). Big, fuzzy, buzzers! Cheers to you Rebecca.

    1. I was out last night and the hummingbirds were buzzing around, a baby bunny sat munching my flowers, watching me with one eye, and the baby finches in their nest are almost fully fledged. Not to mention the calf greeting committee! Yep. It is a beautiful world and you are a wonderful blogging friend. Cheers~

Here’s a little tale you can tell to your bumblebees and they will be ever so happy with you. “When Darwin, or indeed any of his contemporaries, wrote of the animated bundles of fluff, he would have called them humblebees.     1. How perfectly wonderful and fascinating. I confess to being a huge Darwin fan. We traced the voyage of his HMS Beagle in Antarctica. And of course, The Beagle Channel is one of the most stunning natural wonders I have seen. Can you imagine him sailing in these arctic waters all those years ago? Great admiration for this man and his contributions. I love the humble bumble name! I am quite content with bees in general and always have been. We have gazillions of them at The Holler due to all the flowers and I am so happy with them buzzing industriously around me. I used to be scared of the B-1 Bombers, but like most critters, if you stand quite still, they don’t bother you.
