You’re really startin’ to make me jealous, cuz. You have blooms and blossoms and sunshine. We have almost 8in of new snow since 5 p.m. It’s just not fair ! !!!!!! Beautiful pics.
Paul
I keep trying to say that snow has it’s own beauty which it does, but at this point I completely understand if you’re ready for spring. Hang in there, it’s on the way!!
There’s a Marcy’s Playground song about Poppies, but it is extolling different virtues of the flower! ): I do like the song though…. I never thought of this until reading your comment, but my grandfather’s family came from Bulgaria where they owned a poppy plantation…I guess my love of the flower is in my genes. I can just imagine France’s glorious spring poppies…..Cheers to you Lea~
The best time to be surrounded by the flaming fields of poppies is May. It is spectacular here. I shall try to get some photos in May but they don’t do it justice. The first time my friend, Rita, came to visit was in May. We were off to Carcassonne for the day when we started hitting one field of poppies after another and she had forgotten her camera back at my house. The poppies reference was from The Wizard of Oz.
It seems both of us have our roots in Europe!
Sounds divine!! No surprise we both have our roots in Europe is it??? We have everything else in common. Yes, know the WOZ poppy reference now!!! Cheers to you my friend~
I love close ups of all flowers but these are stunning Cindy…
I know…I’m starting to feel guilty about my east coast friends…..It’s beautiful where you are……I keep saying this, and it is, and it will be spring very soon!!!
Still in disbelief. But happy!! Feels surreal still. Thank you for asking!!
It was selfish of me….I wanted to know how I’ll be feeling and this sounds exactly right!…surreal but happy. Hugs to you! What a lucky family you have to partake of your lovingly & skillfully made creations…….And most of all to have YOU!
Me three. I really should have labeled this the tissue paper flowers of eary spring, because these super fragile beauties are only here in early spring. Cheers to you & thanks for stopiing by~
